Laced (2023)
Another movie bashing men
The abuse comes from.the wife NOT the husband. She is insane. Why in the world would the byline read he is abusive? Because in today's society, I suppose all masculinity is defined as such. Simply ridiculous. I did find the female character to be a believable psychopath and a murderer.
And the wife brings her nurse girlfriend into their home to assist her in the murder, and blames her husband for being unfaithful to her. A modern day millenial tale.
This is a story that gives a lesson for men to avoid modern women like these. The story takes a winding road into the unstable psychodynamics of two female murderers which makes for troubling but good entertainment.
A Quiet Place (2018)
Aweful
A Quite Place is aptly named as it will put you to sleep. This was a typical Western film culture's attitude at thought provoking. Perhaps this works for fourteen year old children., who love on a culture that nurtures petty insecurities and strip any resilience from developing children. It is embarrassingly overly dramatic in the worst ways and lacks any nuance. The main character, Meg, played by Jennifer Kim, keeps the audience confused until the very annoying end where you become angry at the waste of money. Her acting is canned and grating on the nerves. The movie is not even entertaining.
Tehran (2020)
Good series. Main female character excessively weak and stupid.
The main female Mossad agent was stupidly indecisive, weak and idiotically emotional to even be remotely believable. That was so very disappointing as it detracted from a potential incredible series. Fire the weak link who developed this character and its a true winner. Keep this person and anything they work on in the future will be better off in Disney as they are unfit for this type of intelligent drama. I will find out who they are to simply ensure they never work on my projects. It is embarrassing actually that they are the only weak link in the script. Otherwise I was impressed. On the future, make hard decisions to be great and get rid of such people early in the project.
Oh and the character Massoud, the Iranian travel agent whi is a Mossad deep cover agent, stupidly drives his company car with...wait for it...his company logo on the side to conduct clandestine business. Just asaninely unbelievable tradecraft. Whoever wrote this part of the script is simply inept.
It's sad that these two enormous acts of negligence (not mistakes because the idiots who made each are unfit) eroded the quality of the show so much.
