Hit or miss
21 September 2021
This was a total mess of a movie with really bad acting, there is a hit or miss with Shyamalan.

Hard to believe this is the same director that directed Unreakable, Sixth Sense and a few other lesser flicks but still better than this.

A waste of time to say the least...

Pretty good action/ comedy
22 April 2020
EtFD is a descent action/ comedy and Donnie Yen is pretty funny, he is a good actor for comedy too. Some pretty good fighting, it reminds me of Kung Fu Hustle. Worth a watch if you like action comedies and Donnie Yen!

Great footage of a true champion and great martial artist both inside and outside the cage!!!
25 March 2014
What makes a champion when it come's to fighting is will, heart and determination and GSP got them all, a true martial artist and i really hope he come back soon!! GSP was blamed to be boring and so forth but he was super smart and technical as h**l and customize his fighting for each of his opponents and that is one reason why he kept the belt so long! He had a tough upbringing when it comes to being bullied and that is something i can relate to, it gives you that extra motivation to strive and in many cases it can make you very humble and kind cause you felt pain and humiliation so you turn it around and says hey, this is not something that i could do to a fellow human being cause the pain and strive to come back from it is really hard and the scars never go away. it takes strenght to become a good human after such a painful experience and martial arts can really help and give you back some confidence, it did for GSP and me. GSP is a true inspiration and a legend! GSP for president i say! Will always love him for who he is and what he has accomplished! OSU

Wow, this is a instant classic!!
12 March 2009
Oh man what a great movie, Just seen it and im stunned. This moves up to my number 5 top list of greatest Martial Arts movies ever. Ip Man was a great man in Chinese history and i can see why. This movie is so well directed and Donnie Yen suits great as a young Ip Man. Its so dramatic at times, you start sniffing your nose and gets sad and angry at the same time. Awesome movie which will be a true classic instantly. I Bought the two disc HK Special Edition and i will see the extras later today cause i will go to sleep now, if i can sleep. Cant wait for part 2. See this film in theaters or on DVD as soon as you can, you will not be disappointed. Kung Fu cinema is back and what a comeback. WOW!!

Donnie Yen is back with this instant classic
15 August 2008
OK, where do i start...this a hell uva Action movie with the great Donnie Yen and it contains a lot of action and Donnie Yen has adapted Mixed Martial Arts aka MMA and it suits him fine and looks awesome on screen when Donnie Yen perform. Donnie As a screen fighter is awesome and he is my favorite actor along with Jet Li and i have seen all his movies and Dou Fo Sin aka Flash Point along with SPL aka Sha Po Lang or Kill Zone is two of his greatest movies to date except for Iron Monkey but it is a classic and no martial arts movie can beat Iron Monkey. But of Donnies later movies Flash Point And SPL are my favorites. So if you are a fan of MMA or martial arts and love Donnie Yen then there is no doubt that you must see Flash Point. TODAY!

What did Ching Siu Tung think of??
15 July 2008
Warning: Spoilers
Ching Siu Tung failed miserably with An Empress And The Warriors, some good shots and one almost nice action scene doesn't make a good film and i usually love to see a CST directed movie but he failed with Dororo too so Ching Siu Tung, please get back to directing martial arts movies instead!! And Donnie Yen, please act in movies like SPL, Flashpoint, Iron Monkey,Dragon Tiger Gate and Legend Of The Wolf instead of war movies (cause then you can show off your great martial arts), they are mostly boring but if one think of making a war movie at least make it with a exiting plot and action filled, not just lame love that no one cares for in the end. Ching Siu Tung did a good job on Curse of the Golden Flower but that was not a action film more a drama with a few action scenes, so see that instead of this garbage.
