I watched this with my 6 year old daughter because we saw the dolls. I am stoked there is a live-action show that I can feel good about her watching. I don't let her watch the Disney channel tween shows. This show doesn't have a laugh track or rude sarcasm. The girls are smart and funny. The actresses are so adorable--it was cast wonderfully. I like the mystery/case-solving plot (instead of a typical "does that boy like me?" or "my teacher/parents are idiots" plot line). The adults are positive influences in the characters' lives. I also love the ethnic diversity of the characters and their clothes are so fun. I highly recommend this show on Netflix.

The Man in the High Castle
(2015–2019)
Wanted to like it but its slow and flat
8 December 2015
I wanted to like this show. I watched 4 or 5 episodes. The characters are flat--there is not enough character development. I wish they would make me like the characters more. It is very slow moving--not enough intrigue or things happening. The feeling is dark and hopeless. No comedy whatsoever (I know its a drama, but you could still have some light moments.) It could have been so awesome, but its just kind of boring and bleak. I like seeing what the world could have been like if the Nazi's/Japanese had won. I also like how it is set in the 60's-cool cars and fashion. The mountain land is kind of like the Wild West so that is interesting too. But overall, it was just too slow and dark and uninteresting.
