Gotta be a true Mario fan to understand
1 May 2023
Amazing movie. The amount of effort and love from Nintendo that was poured into this movie was unparalleled. Some say this movie was bad because of the plot, which I disagree with. It's a Mario movie. Did you expect groundbreaking dialogue and complex writing? No, it's a Mario movie, the plot doesn't need to be complex. Nearly every Mario game has very simple plot, which is fine, as not everything needs to be complex.

The amount of references in this movie was great as well. I couldn't stop heeling out at all of the little references and sound effects put into the movie.

My only complaint is that it was a bit short. An extra 30 or even 15 minutes would've perfected this movie.

Overall, stellar movie. You have to be a true Mario fan to understand.

Cannot wait for season 2

This was the second Marvel show that I watched, and I have to say, what an amazing show.

First of all, the story and acting. The story is incredible, with stunning twists right at the first episode, and that isn't the last twist in the show. There are many twists that keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish. The acting is amazing, with great performances from every actor.

The visuals and CGI are amazing as well. Every location looks stunning and incredibly detailed.

I obviously have to talk about the soundtrack - wow. Every song is filled with incredible arrangements and fusions of instruments.

Overall, stellar show. I definitely recommend this show for any Marvel fan.

Moon Knight (2022)

Best show on Disney+

As someone who's always been interested in Egyptian mythology, this was amazing. What an incredible experience from start to finish.

Moon Knight takes an interesting spin on Egyptian mythology with a very depressing backstory mixed in as well. The action scenes are fantastic, not to mention the visuals.

A lot of people say the CGI is bad, but it seems like there were only 2 small scenes with iffy CGI? The rest of the CGI was outstanding, with detailed landscapes and awesome fight scenes.

By far my favorite Marvel show so far, and I can't wait to see more Moon Knight in the future of the MCU.

Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance (2013 Video Game)

Favorite hack 'n slash game
31 January 2023
Despite this game being released in 2013, this game was absolutely incredible.

First of all, the gameplay - wow. The fluency of the gameplay is amazing, with fun mechanics and attacks, but what makes the gameplay peak is blade mode. Slowing down time and slashing away at your enemies, as well as obstacles, is incredibly fun. Not to mention the boss fights - each boss fight is very unique and interesting, never boring you into not playing the game.

Speaking of that, the pacing is amazing. The game starts off incredibly strong and finishes incredibly strong. Just when you think the game will start to lose you, it picks right back up and keeps you on the edge of your seat.

Obviously, I have to talk about the soundtrack. This game takes metal & rock and takes it to the next level, with stunning arrangements and awesome lyrics.

The story is pretty good too. The characters are really unique and the dialogue is really good throughout the game, ending in a climactic finish.

In conclusion - this is my favorite hack 'n slash game, and a must - play for anyone who likes hack 'n slash games.

Incredible RPG
31 January 2023
This game was a banger on the 3DS, and it was a banger on the Switch. As someone who doesn't really like turn based combat, this game was incredible. The gameplay was fun, the story was basic, but fun (and had an interesting twist near the end), the graphics were good, and the soundtrack was a masterpiece. Not to mention there countless side quests, activities, and more that you can do during and after you complete the main story. I'm really glad they ported this to the Switch, as it seemed as if there wasn't going to be any mii themed games on the Switch. If you're looking for a solid lighthearted game on the Switch or 3DS, I recommend getting this game.

Best of fighting game ever
31 January 2023
This game is by far one of, if not the best fighting game so far.

Nearly everything about this game is perfect. First of all, the gameplay. Moving and attacking is very fluent with its 60 FPS gameplay. Hitboxes are spot on, not to mention the roster. The stats of every fighter are very balanced with each other, to the point where you'll find yourself beating top tier characters with low tier characters.

Speaking of that, the roster is very expansive and interesting. Characters like Ridley, K Rool, Banjo & Kazooie, Sora, and more, all characters that have been requested for years, and have finally made it to this game. The overall roster is filled with many characters from several different franchises, which helps celebrate video games as a whole.

The visuals are good as well. The colors are just right - not as vibrant as Sm4sh, but also not as bleak as Brawl. Each character and stage is visually stunning, with detailed appearances on the characters and fun & interesting stages.

I don't really have much of a verdict on the online mode, but overall it seems pretty decent to me.

My ONLY problem with this game is the story mode. I think that World of Light is really fun, but I wish it more cinematic like the Subspace Emissary.

Other than that, this game is practically perfect. This game has set a new standard for fighting games, and has even inspired other games like Multiversus. This is a must buy for anyone with a Switch.

Must - play Kirby game
31 January 2023
Absolute masterpiece. First of all, amazing gameplay. The mouthful mode is very fun along with the copy abilities, the platforming is pretty good, and the boss fights are very innovative. The dodge is also very fun. Unlike the dodge from previous Kirby games, the dodge in this game actually moves you and becomes a slo-mo dodge when you perfectly dodge an enemy's attack, which makes the gameplay more cinematic. The music is outstanding, with incredible arrangements and many songs that you'll want to come back to. The visuals are stunning, with appealing backgrounds and areas. The story is interesting, with mysterious side stories and cool twists here and there. This game is also very replayable, with many sub-games and minigames to play during or after you complete the game.

HAL has created an incredibly innovative and creative game that will set the standard for Kirby games in the future. I definitely recommend this for anyone looking for a solid 3D platformer.

Super Mario Odyssey (2017 Video Game)
10/10
Best Mario game of all time
31 January 2023
This has got to be my favorite Mario game of all time.

Mario odyssey by far has the best gameplay of any Mario game. There are so many options for moving around, jumping, attacking, and more. Cappy makes the game even better, as not only does he allow you to capture certain enemies, replacing power ups in this game, but he also makes your gameplay even more skilled, due to being able to jump on your cap. With this gameplay options, at some points you might just find yourself messing around with the controls, jumping and swinging from area to area like I do.

The game runs at a smooth 60 FPS, and the visuals are stunning. The landscapes in this game are incredibly detailed and interesting.

The soundtrack is fantastic, with awesome songs with a variety of different arrangements that combine to create songs that you're sure to come back to.

The story is pretty basic, but that's not a necessarily a bad thing due to being just a Mario game. There isn't anything wrong with the story either, it's just a lighthearted and fun story that ends with a pretty great ending.

What's great about this game is that it encourages the player to play how they want to play. You might go through some of the intended route on your first playthrough, but in future playthroughs you'll find yourself going through most of the game your way, which is really fun. Not to mention how replayable this game is. You will find countless of things to do both during and after you complete the main story, including many interesting side quests and several fun minigames.

Overall, this is an absolute masterpiece from start to finish. If you're planning on getting Switch or already have one, this is the game to get.
