Going in, I had expected a prime-time soap opera but found this little gem to be much more. You quickly fall in love with the fiction town of "Bluebell" and its characters. Its charming, funny, well written (for the most part) and well acted. But the hero of the show is its fictional town. The characters and those love stores would be ordinary without its "Bluebell". It is an ensemble which works pretty well. It is only when you hear actors off screen that you realize how spot on their southern accent is. It has lot of heart and one would feel at home with Bluebell. Its one of its kind feel good show. You will end up missing Bluebell and its resident. We do need simple and feel good shows like Hart of Dixie on T.V. more.

A Refreshment in the age of clichés

I am still wondering how this movie got bad reviews. This is of one of the better Hindi romantic movies I have seen lately.Yes ! It does have its cliché moments but it is still a fresh air.
Directed by first timer Danish Aslam, it is about a young couple. They have been together for it seems forever and they are growing out of the relation. They want to restore the relation so decides to take a break. And that's all there is to movie. But its being handle so well It has this very real young vibe to it. Also, it brings some real issues for the young generation of India. The movie's music adds to it.
Have to admit that I am not big fan of Deepiak Padoukone but her performance blew me away. She was so invested in the movie that it was hard to remember her glamor self. It was first time I felt she was acting. And Imran Khan was amazing. Inspite of what people have been saying he has some true potential to grow in very fine actor.
Overall, I would suggest this movie over any recent Hindi "love story". It is predictable but it does raises some interesting questions.

Ohh Yeah ! It is that good. It is one of the couples of Hindi movies that has managed to move me. Very simple yet heavy on its contents.
After seeing it on many Best of 2010 list, I had to see it. And after watching it has to review it. This very ordinary story stays with you even after hours of watching it. "Udaan" is a story of a boy, who like everyone else dreams and like almost everyone else he had to decided and step up to the hurdle before him. It is also a story of a father who like many tries his best to brought up two kids but fails. Its characters are not heroes or villains.
The performances are pitch perfect. Ronit Roy does it so amazingly that you wonder if his talents were wasted on television. Both kids are so refreshing. The biggest achievement of the film was that you just don't pity the father but kind of understand his actions.
it is a journey that will make you run for your dreams and love ones. Do not miss this fantastic piece of arts.

BURN NOTICE is smart, original , captivating,stylish and just stunning.Let me start saying i love TV and watch a lots of show but i guess nothing come near burn notice (except house m.d).it's something new and it has everything you want in a show :humor,action,thriller ,suspence,bit of drama and everything.
The script gets better and better every time(i like the two story running together and have effects on each other ) ,casting is amazing ,everyone in the show rocks specially Donovan(btw where was he before this),the show has it's style and let me tell u that is unique (little narration are great).
If you like shows which are light and same time gives u thrill ,ths show is for you .You won't only find youself back eveyweek but also wanting more and more
