Knock at the Cabin (2023)
Some of the greatest story telling I have ever seen in a film.
Ok, I'm going to keep this short. But just to help you feel where I'm coming from as a film fan, my 5 favorite films are..
There will be blood
No country got old men
Brokeback mountain
Grand Budapest hotel
12 angry men
Now, knowing that, how the hell could I justify saying that knock at the cabin is some of the greatest story telling I have ever seen? I really can't explain it lol. No element of this film is "Oscar worthy", that being said, everything in this movie, the acting, the directing, the cinematography, the editing, the musical score, I mean everything, is on a level of good, when it all comes together, it really does elevate the story telling aspect of it. Hence, some of the greatest story telling I have ever seen. If you watch this film, and at least don't feel like you enjoy it, then I don't know what to tell you lol.
The Texas Chain Saw Massacre (1974)
Greats HORROR film of all time.
This is, without a doubt, the greatest horror film of all time. It's not even an argument. From the directing, film editing, sound editing to the script, acting, filming technique and flat out grittiness. A true horror film like this will never come along again.
The Batman: Deleted Arkham Scene (2022)
One reason this scene was made/released
There are two notable paper clips on the file Batman gives Joker. When Joker gives back the file, one of those paper clips is missing. Joker of course escapes the insane asylum eventually; and now we know how.
8:46 (2020)
Not worth it.
Just keep this stuff on your social media. Right? And I'm sure he wished he waited for more information to come out, because this whole thing is bogus.
Texas Chainsaw 3D (2013)
An insult.
An insult to the original. An insult to films. An insult to horror.
Ozark: All In (2020)
Best season yet.
Season 1: 3/5
Season 2: 3.5/5
Season 3: 4/5
Clearly the season get better and better. Season 4 will be no different. The set up that this show does for the next seasons are amazing. And the final episode of season 3 was masterful at setting up season 4. Ben character was Emmy winning good; at least a nomination anyway. DARK and OZARK are the best drama shows in modern television.
Don't F**k with Cats: Hunting an Internet Killer (2019)
Decent watch, but...
Thousands of animals die a day. But the line is drawn with cats? Why is that? "They're so cute" "they're house pets" "I have a cat!". Society Is a tricky one indeed. But anyway it's hard to watch a few of these people talk on their high horse. Hypocrites Etc.
Michelle Wolf: Joke Show (2019)
Unbearable...
50 percent of stand up is voice. And her voice is excruciating. Her jokes fall late. There's no complexity. I hate to say it, and of course comedy is subjective, but she goes into the pile of "women aren't funny". Of course there's exceptions in anecdotal evidence, but this woman should never be on a stage and no where near a microphone. Why do we do this? You know the answer.
The Brink (2019)
Fly on the wall?? HAHAHA
You did not make this film with the "fly on the wall" approach. You embellished because you're uninformed and believe in your own ridiculous ideologies. Media and Hollywood can't be trusted, everyone knows it, and this is another perfect example. I just hope weak minded people don't watch this * cough * Democrats and liberals, and walk away feeling empowered and steadfast in their own embellished and biased ideology.
Trevor Noah: Son of Patricia (2018)
Meh
One sided and dry/lame. He just doesn't get it. But most of the left doesn't get it. But what can ya do.
