Best Ren & Stimpy game ever...
23 May 2004
The other review is for "Veedits" (SNES) not "Stimpy's Invention."(GENESIS)

Stimpy's Invention is one of the few Sega Genesis classics (you weren't a true Sega player if you've never played this game). Unlike "Veedits", it was easy and featured 2 player action such as special moves that would later appear in other games such as AAAGGGHHH! Real Monsters! and Donkey Kong Country. The game was a bit short, but it still had somewhat good replay value. It was fun to play again and again, but didn't reward you for playing it again, so it was merely for kicks.

Overall, it was a much better and easier game than the near impossible "Veedits" and "Time Warp"...

One of the greatest movies of all time...
1 June 2003
The unrated version that is (the "R" version sucks really bad). This has to be one of Troma's most offensive, yet, most hilarious films ever. I crack up everytime I watch it. From Lardass (the funniest charactor in the whole movie, I wish he was in there more) to Kabukiman (both evil and "good" Kabukiman) to Tito the Retarded Rebel. Definitely not for the whole family. Only for those with a very sick sense of humor. But in the words of Evil Kabukiman, "I can't pass this up!"

ACTION SAUSAGE NUNCHUCKS!!! DELI STYLE!!!

10/10

Could Reservior Dogs be a rip off?
6 January 2003
Warning: Spoilers
I loved Reservior Dogs. It was an excellent movie. (Mr. Blonde rulz) But I've heard rumors that it is a rip-off of a Japanese gangster flick called, "City on Fire." If that is actually true is uncertain, but I will look into it. It was still a good film and yes, the "Ear" scene is disturbing to many, but funny at the same time (The way Mr. Blonde is dancing to that old song). At least they didn't use the alternate angles of that scene(available on the DVD).

*POSSIBLE SPOILER* While Mr. Pink survives the post heist, he doesn't get away. The police can be heard in the background yelling at him, but the only shots fired were at Mr. White. Mr. Pink may have died at the scene, or he might have been arrested, served his time, and got a job as a waiter in an old 50's restaurant...

WWE Smackdown! (1999– )
Wrestling may be fake...
5 January 2003
I haven't watch wrestling for years. I've grown out of it, but even today when I hear others say, "Why do you watch wrestling? It's fake!" to others, it still urks me. Being fake is no reason not to watch it. YES IT IS FAKE! But so are sitcoms, soup operas, and just about every other TV (with the exception of those "reality tv" shows, but even some of them are actually fake). Only watch it to enjoy it. Don't let the fact that its fake sway the way you feel about it. It's like not listening to a certain singer because they are gay and letting that be the determining factor, even though they make good music. So who cares if its fake? If a kid wants to believe its real, then just let them. Why spoil the fun for someone?

Better than I expected...
9 December 2002
For those of you who are biased because a white man wants to rap, this is NOT a wigger movie. As a matter of fact, it's about that bias. It's not about Eminem and his rise to fame, it's about a kid trying to achieve success in a world that does nothing more than shoot him down. Everybody wants to succeed, this is just one person's story. The film itself was quite good. I have seen other online "reviews" and they said "it was good, but we've seen it before." Where the hell have we seen this before? 8 Mile is quite original. It's the first (and only) movie that I have seen where the racism role is reversed. In this movie, the white guy is the one who is discriminated by racist black people. It's a very bold step because people are too afraid to incorperate the fact that "black people can be racist too" into film. Eminem is just the man to show that prejudice, but keeps it from going over the top and too far. This is a great film and I didn't expect it to be so well done. I think that everyone can relate to it in some way or another...

Classic Manson
23 November 2002
This is probably the Mansons' best live video and their first DVD. The DVD features selectable songs and a documentary directed by Mr. Manson himself called, "The Death Parade." As far as the "songs" go, they are a little inacurately performed. This isn't a big deal except it doesn't really give you the "Guns, God, and Government" experience that we are promised. I was at a concert that had used the same set and props as most of the tour. Most of the DVD is shot at 1 show in California and it has some noticeable differences. "The Love Song" on the DVD has Manson walking around dressed as the pope (at the other concerts, it was during "Valentine's Day") instead of standing atop a giant podium like Hitler. This is probably because it was too similair to the performace of "Antichrist Superstar" (also on there). He walked on stilts during "The Nobodies" on the DVD instead of during "Tourniquet" and so on. It's not a big deal and is still a badass DVD, but most of it takes place during 1 show instead of giving us the entire "Guns, God, and Government" WORLD Tour we were promised. Overall, it's very entertaining to watch. The Death Parade is hiliarious (Happy Birthday John 5!). It's not for everybody (ex: People who hate Manson or people who with a week stomach (Manson suffers a really bad knee injury)), but for those Manson fans out there, this is a real trip.

Manhunter (1986)
Go see Red Dragon
10 November 2002
This movie was ok, but it's a rare example of "the remake actually being better than the original." The movie strayed away from the book to the point where it was like they had to rush scenes together to keep it in less than 2 1/2 hours. I suggest seeing Red Dragon (the title it should of have in the first place). It's a much better movie.

People can be cruel
8 August 2002
I though that Kung Pow was an excellent movie. True, it will never win an Oscar, but most Oscar films are boring as hell anyway (Ex: "The English Patient" and "A Beautiful Mind", Now I felt like I was robbed hours of my life.). Kung Pow is aimed at audiences that like movies like "Airplane" and "The Naked Gun" series. These movies arn't suppose to make you smarter, there just there so that you can get a good laugh without some "Highly" sophisticated jerk making jokes like, "What did one proton say the other?" It's purpose is just like every movie's purpose should be, to entertain an audience. If you want (In a bad British accent)"High Quality Comedy"(which usually isn't funny but labeled "comedy" anyway) go see "Waking Ned Devine" or a Woody Allen movie. Now that's some boring crap! At least it isn't "Rollerball" (aka the sorriest movie ever made). I would never compare this movie to "Freddy Got Fingered" because we all know (even "Airplane" people) that movie really sucked. Kung Pow is a good movie to watch and put you in a good mood with (unless you are an inconsiderate chump you picks and nags at things). I own it on DVD and I never buy DVD's unless I plan on watching it more than 3 times. My rating= 10 out of 10, though you would have to see it for yourself.

This may sound strange...
31 July 2002
This may sound strange, but I actually LOST my fear of spiders once I saw this movie. That doesn't mean the movie was bad. The special effects were amazing! It had the best looking spiders in any movie thus far. Each spider looked highly detailed and extreamly realistic. The "Trap Door" spiders were amongst the best. They looked just like the real thing when they were snagging human victoms. As far as the story goes, it wasn't very good. If the actor has more than 2 lines, expect them to LIVE. It seemed like the only people that were getting killed were the extras. There was just too big of a cast for all of them to make it out alive. It had a very lame spider made up for the movie based off the Black Widow w/o actually having a Black Widow in it. Overall it was ok. If spiders scare you now, they might not after the end of the movie...
