The Wheel of Time (2021)
Cringe Prime
These clowns will ruin LotR just like everything else they touch with their political correctness. The Wheel of Time books are amazing, it deserved much better than this B class series. What a sad time we live in.
Atiye (2019)
"Dark" wannabe Turkish series
The Gift is a pretentious Turkish show that takes itself way too serious. A few of the actors starring in this show are generally good actors but their performance in this title is quite bad and amateurish. On top of that the show is filled with one dimensional characters, a dull script and it has no depth. First season was ok, interesting enough to catch your attention but second season was unbearable and I often found myself fast-forwarding through a lot of the scenes due to the awful cringe dialogs. The writers did a horrible job handling the dialogs and the script.
If you skipped this show, you wouldn't be losing anything. If you are stuck at home and got time to kill, instead of wasting it on this "Dark" wannabe Netflix production go and re-watch a show that you enjoy a 2nd time, its time better spent.

Don't be fooled by the "Netflix Original" tag
I almost skipped on watching this title because originally I thought it was made by Netflix, I am really glad I watched it. It's an amazing KDrama and one of a kind acting from all the actors. A roller coaster of feelings. It has its cheesy moments but still a 10 in my book, it kept things entertaining from start to the end.
Fortunately Netflix was not involved in the making of this show, because lately they ruin everything they touch. Luckily they just stream it on their platform so its not a cheap PC production like the usual Netflix stuff.
Motherland: Fort Salem (2020)
Brilliant idea poorly executed
This title was so promising, the atmosphere, good cinematography, decent acting, great concept all ruined by the lazy writing and filler teen drama.
This show could have been an epic fantasy show but sadly its so focused on the side plots and the main scenario never picks up. Instead we are left with a boring, never-progressing story.
Maybe season 2 will be better if they get good writers, we'll see but i am not holding my breath.
Cursed (2020)
Netflix did it again
I want to start by saying that one of my favorite shows of all time is Sense8 by Netflix. It is one of the most diverse shows ever made until today and it was breathtaking, strong and beautiful.. you know why? Because it had depth, quality, everything made sense and most importantly it wasn't forced. All the LGBTQ+ representation (and there was so much of it), diversity and everything worked flawlessly.
My point is
- Diversity = Good
- Forced diversity in the name of being progressive, to fill a quota = Bad
- Strong female lead = Good (Alien, Kill Bill, Annihilation etc)
- Man bashing female empowerment just for the sake of it = Bad (Starwars, the new Ghost Busters etc)
Everything got too political in our day and we just want unbiased entertainment. I personally don't want any political views regardless of the side (conservative, liberal, progressive, centrist doesn't matter which side it belongs to) shoved down our throats. Unless it is a show/movie about politics of our day, then you could run wild with it.
Make good Movies / TV, not propaganda.
The Order (2019)
I kinda like it but it lacks depth
This show has great potential but it lacks a lot in the writing department. Things like motive of the characters, two dimensional characters is just plain silly in this era and could have been done much better and in more depth. There is no character development. No world building.
I mean we are in 2020, its not 1990s anymore. I am in awe that how script writers still cant see that there are tons of well done shows around and this kind of mediocre writing doesnt fly anymore especially after the average viewer's expectations from series like this is much higher than what these bad writers can come up with. Please open your eyes Netflix.
