An amazing episode, not as incredible as it's manga
17 December 2023
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was fantastic, but it should've been so much more. It cut out 2 amazing scenes from the manga to draw out the flashbacks a little more. I'm assuming these aren't going to be left out point blank period, however (manga spoilers) it left out the beginning sequence of egghead, and didn't display Imu's first feat, which was a jaw-dropping scene in the manga. However, the Raleigh appearance was insane, so the tradeoff isn't negative by any means. It just felt a little more out of order. Now, for the Dream scene. Amazing visuals, the music was a nice touch, and the crews reactions were pretty on point. 9/10 episode, although as someone who doesn't frequent the anime as of lately this definitely felt a little awkward.

Meant To Be Incredible
16 September 2023
Warning: Spoilers
An anime which showed so much potential is so disappointing to see fall flat on its face. The fight with Escanor and Meliodas is famous for how bad it was. The ending is an absolute disaster, even if the last episode was pretty ok. With plot holes galore, I could overlook it for some good as hell characters. Which, by God does this anime has them. Ban and Meliodas are a legendary duo, as well as King having great development. Not to understate the others too. The change that we see of Zeldris is great, and Gowther has multiple of the best moments in the show. And don't get me started on Escanor. Despite all that, this anime has some incredible lows, and highs as well. It's easily worth a watch if you want to love and hate an anime as much as someone who used to watch Naruto.

A tragedy
16 July 2023
Warning: Spoilers
If you don't somewhat have an idea of what this episode is about don't read the reviews. Even with the knowledge it's still one of the best episodes. Kaido... Starting the episode, it decides to tie up a couple of loose ends, while at the same time it happens in a very necessary seeming order. Even the semi unnecessary cuts to the Wano people and flashbacks, they weren't bad. Everything fell into place, Drake kinda got slumped but that just shows that CP0 are definitely strong. (Non manga reader btw, so don't spoil). Goes from an amazing Snake Man battle, to a masterpiece of animation for the Bounce Man part, and then the final strike comes up, and we have yet another Oden. A tragic way to end, by Kaido's hand, but in an unfortunate manner.
