The Big Door Prize: Deercoming (2024)

Season 2 took a nose dive in the writing department
13 June 2024
What Happened?! Season One was dark, mysterious with a bit of sillyness to keep it from being to heavy. Season 2 has a completely different tone and I'm not here for it . The characters stories are so over the top, my eyes kept rolling. A lot of pointless story arcs and characters that weren't developed. This last episode was so nonsensical. So many elements that don't make sense. Why was Casa and Natalie practicing a dance if the stage she was lifted up on one only fit one person? How did Hana get to the original bar so quickly? How did Trina go to Jacob's house to grab the card and get back in a blink of an eye. This is bordering Disney Star Wars writing. Also why are there 10 executive producers on this project?! I'm out.. I will not be watching season 3.

Foundation: In Seldon's Shadow (2023)

What happened?

The first season was so well crafted, with well write dialogue and intriguing characters. It wasnt perfect but it had so much going for it that I was so excited for season 2. This season premiere felt like a completely different show. Everything has been dumbed down. Poor editing choices, why did we jump around so much in one episode? The action scene felt out of place. On the nose and strange dialogue. "Someone get me a blasted robe so my manhood isn't flapping around". This is cringe dialogue by the Emperor himself. People are just telling you what they did instead of us experiencing it with them. Feels like you could boil this episode down to 5-10mins and still fit in all the plot points. Potentially another show being driven into the ground by odd choices and poor writing. Hopefully I'm wrong but I'm not holding my breathe.
