The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society (2018)
Is there anybody in this whole wide world, who is NOT in love with Juliet?
Is there anybody in this whole wide world, who is NOT in love with Juliet?
The heroine enters the scene and basically every man she encounters fall in love with her.
I don't know if it's the poor writing or someone's wishful thinking, but a pretty face won't do the trick...
It's overly annoying, that after she forced herself on the club and refused to leave when she should have, she keeps being so intrusive.
Making decent characters kinda look bad.
But hellyeah, I look good, I can do whatever I like as someone will save my a** because they want to get laid :(
it was soo oversweeted, i stopped watching after 20minutes.
Ein Sommer in Ungarn (2014)
Chatastrophal
The picture this "movie" tries to show about Hungary is simply showing how shallow and dumb the background research was.
Would be funny, but rather sad...
Also that the main character is chosen by "Tamas" - whose name is pronounced wrong during the whole movie (seriously wasn't any other name you could pick that sounds less weird?) - over Erika Marozsàn? Seriously? :D
Just the basic portrait of the village... Everyone is running after a hairdresser after a few weeks of filling in :D Come on!
The dramatic scene with the trow away bike than having an epiphany lying in the grass :D
That the whole folklore dance group is dancing in the garden - out of rhythm - as what, guests, show, what? In traditional clothing... that the melody will played that is usually reserved for really big events and still nobody's dancing the choreograph...
I sincerely want my brain cells back went lost just by seeing the last 15 minutes of this abomination :D.
You could have added so much more value just by NOT producing this film. Or next time go with the similar plot to Oberbayern oder Niedersachsen oder Thüringen :D.
The Summer I Turned Pretty (2022)
Dumb script, sorry
The main character is utterly annoying.
The whole world is after her, she is in love with one guy for years, then has no problem hooking up within family in no minute. Fool an other guy and trash on anyone comes near to her.
She is an entitled b*tch, I can't say it otherwise. It's hard to even tolerate her on the screen - however the actress could be o.k. But the written role is just baaad.
The guys are shallow. Only persistent character is Jeremiah, who got trashed on, but doing a lot of support what nobody notices.
And yes, we get it, you are rich, even richer than rich but that's not the life of most people around the world, probably not for a lot people in the USA.
The scenes are there just for trigger conversations, most dialogs are only about soul life...
It can't be the life of today's teenagers, we weren't that petty shallow - even without money...
