Some things just aren't amazing even when trying to be dark & intelligent underneath the surface. "Of course it doesn't appear like quality art because they were intentionally trying to make low quality art! Dummies" the arguments being made against anyone who simply didn't enjoy it are the most pretentious nonsense trains of thought.

Not everything that others don't like is secretly better than they think. Others not liking it doesn't make it awful either.

We aren't all going to enjoy the same cups of tea. Sometimes a dumb show is enjoyable to others while not being so to the masses. Sometimes that's because there's an impressive underlying situation going on. Other times it's just a silly show. Either way maybe don't twist up the underwear so much when trying to rate your favorite show.

Dude! Did you know that slow motion is an available technology for movies these days? I had no idea but after watching this movie I am an expert on the subject. I'm not sure if Zack lets anybody give him any constructive criticism ever. He seems like a decent fellow but the only way I can imagine this poor amount of quality control is managed on such a high profile production (every single time) is if he has some serious control problems.

I also really like how I am not allowed to dislike something for having abysmal writing unless I am "only following the pack". I very much enjoy how anytime something that isn't well made is produced we have the fanboys crawling out of the woodworks crying foul. It's okay to enjoy things that others don't, or even the vast majority don't. We ALL have guilty pleasures but I assure you "Rebel Moon" is about as much of one as a colonoscopy.

I am only 3 episodes in but I never expect they'd make a decent live action anime production. I certainly never expected that they could possibly produce One Piece in live action without it losing the essence of the original material. Thank you Oda for ensuring you had to give the approval for the parts you did. Although there were obviously changed aspects I have not once cringed or grumbled. I have laughed, smiled and very much enjoyed this experience.

They nailed Zoro in my mind and Luffy is still a blast. 👍 I can only hope the remaining episodes keep up the solid work at success.
