This show is highly recommended. They have come up with an excellent show structure. The writing is simple enough for kids but deep in good values. It is highly creative and interesting, but slow paced to help improve kids' attention spans. They really hit the themes hard to reinforce things with the kids. The ending "Masterpiece" songs are really well done and heart felt.

The host Mabel has a great voice for talking to kids without condescension and without sounding sing-song. The show has a sweetness to it that will really resonate with kids and a quiet depth that is so different than the usual kids content that just wants to give kids something to look at. This show will really help your kids.

While I agree with others that the show draws a lot from Bluey, I think people are missing that Chip Chilla has unique stories and themes. I was impressed by the show's coverage of classic literature, history, and morality.

The animation and voice acting are great. The father character does share a lot with Bluey's father, but there are differences. I laughed out loud with my kids in one episode where the kids and the parents switched places. The kids were allowed to do anything and Chip said he always wanted to "blast the AC." The father had a hard time restraining himself as Chip played with the thermostat. That really said a lot about the difference with Bluey. Bluey's father plays along to an unbelievable extent. Chip Chilla incorporating a great joke about that was great.
