I had no hopes about this one, but it went below every expectation I had. But still here are 10 good and bad things about B3

+'s 1. The main villain was Dracula 2. Dracula was played by non-American 3. J. Biels bow was cool. ( The actual hunting-bow, not the ridiculous "solar" junk. 4. Vampire's death-effects were pretty decent. 5. Kris Kristofferson 6. David Hasselhoff is mentioned. 7. Dracula checking out the merchandise made about him in the Halloween store.

OK, this is honestly as far as I can go.There simply isn't more!!

Then to the -'s

1. Dracula's actor is totally uncharismatic! 2. JESSICA BIEL!!!! 3. Biel's "hunterplaylist". This has to be the dumbest thing I've seen in vampire films. Or films in general. 4. Reference to number 3 in the "+" -list. That solar-bow contraption was simply stupid. "Half as hot as the sun!" 5. All the Biels fight sequences. She is not a physical actress. Or not even an actress in my opinion. 6. Goyer! He makes OK-scripts, but when he directs like s**t, all hope is lost. He should get together with Lucas. They have the same amount of talent. 7. Anti-vampire injection! 8. Whistler says:"You can't go on killing humans." And then he murders about 20 police officers with a shotgun. 9. All the fight scenes. 10. "Humour".

Well then, compared to some other films this is not complete thrash but pretty close. No 4th one, please.

Constantine (2005)

This was a hard one... First of all I like the Hellblaizer comics and the character of Constantine. I am not "the number One fan", but still. I like the world he lives in and the rules that inhabit that world. In my opinion this movie at times captured the spirit of John Constantine, but just simply because Keanu Reeves has non-existing acting skill, this movie in general sucked. I mean he can't even cough convincingly! The rest of the cast was good: Stormare and Swinton were great. But Keanu...he gives me a headache. Also the script was not were well constructed. It main goal seemed to be the use of special effects. Like all the Hollywood movies today. Constantine ( the movie, not the actor portraying him ) had some really good moments, but unfortunately it also had more of the down moments. A good try, but falls flat.

Night Watch (2004)

I have to say that I am very impressed. You can forget the awful Blade series, the more dreadful Matrix series and even Lord of the Rings! Because Night Watch can wipe the floors with all of them.

It's not in anyway a perfect film. It has a lot to hope for, but the visual look, smartly used special effects ( every modern American filmmaker should learn from this movie!) and good characters and actors. This movie has so much potential that I can only hope that the two sequels will be even better and deepen the story and the motives and world presented in the first one.

This is what fantasy films should be about and this just strengthens my opinion that the Russians make the best movies in the world. I wish for all the success for this movie and hope that they don't sell their movie to the Americans who are incapable to make any original movies and just put out remakes of foreign and old films.

Dead End (I) (2003)

Another disappointing ending.

Movie which starts out great, soon becomes a flop. The ending is so unimaginative that I cannot describe it. OK, I know the it is almost impossible to make an

"original" movie, but still. All the promises the movie makes is totally trashed in the end. The cast is great and as I understand the directors have no education in

film-making, but I might be wrong. If this is true, then this is a great accomlisment. The editor could have thought things through a bit more carefully, because he totally destroys the feeling in some scenes. Made really basic mistakes.

But all in all a very entertaining horror flick with some real cool moments. Highly recommended alternative to some of the low grade crap the Hollywood has the

offer.
