Downside Up (2016)
I am in. SHOCK.
When I watched this movie, my expectations were... lets just say, what can you expect from a cast full of down syndrome people? Well, i was sure BLOWN out of the water when I saw the delightful acting, the cinamatic shots, and the intrepid directing. I give this film a solid 10/10, anyone who knows someone with down syndrome MUST watch. When i feel my sevre depression, I watch this film and it saves me from jumping out a 3rd story window. This film has saved my life, and may save yours.
Upon watching, I began to question the definition of normality, why should a chromosome seperate you from the rest of society? Arguably, i believe everyone is different. Im not a doctor but upon watching this film i was able to diagnose myself with down syndrome. While watching, I felt an extra chromosome come into my life. I am schizophrenic by the way, but its ok because i felt very empowered upon watching the film. God save us all,
God bless.

Mainline morphine into his carotid could stop his heart
"Mainline morphine into his carotid could stop his heart."
The line that changed me forever. The delivery sent me into an arrythmia, almost immediately. Mainline... morphine? What on EARTH is that? My heart fluttered at the alliteration. Mainline morphine. Two words that devestated my world for years to come. Instantly, I felt my 0.0002% Australian heritage spark to life. I saw visions of Eyres Rock passing through my head, the spikes of the Sydney Opera House piercing my carotid artery. I saw kangaroos leaping through the fields of morphine, I saw koalas clinging to mainlines. My heart... It stopped. From my darkening vision, I hear... A voice. "Mainline... morphine... into... his... carotid... artery... could... stop... his... heart... It was too late. My heart... stopped. I'm sorry, Jesse Spencer. My flight to Chicago has been booked and ready to rumble. May we meet in another life, when my carotid artery... has not been mainlined.
