I Love the Holidays (2005 TV Special)
9/10
Not too shabby
23 November 2006
This show really wasn't all that bad. They just talked about the end-of-the year holidays, but they left out Kwanzaa. I also learned quite a bit. Until I saw this, I never knew about Hell Night being the night before Halloween, or the biggest Christmas shopping day of the year being known as Black Friday. It's very educational and enjoyable. I'm a little disappointed that they didn't talk about one of the greatest holiday movies "A Christmas Story", though. I mean, who doesn't like that movie? It's been a holiday classic since it was released a little over 20 years ago. I want them to do another one, if they would!

The Music Man (2003 TV Movie)
Great movie!

This movie was pretty great. The actors were pretty good, considering that some of them had big shoes to fill. Let me tell you...David Aaron Baker, who played Marcellus, was not quite as hilarious as Buddy Hackett, but he was okay. I give this movie 4 stars!

It (1990)
Good, but scary
15 December 2002
This movie was pretty good. I think that the best things to happen to the movie were Tim Curry, Richard Thomas, John Ritter, Harry Anderson, and Seth Green.

The only thing that I didn't like about the movie was Eddie's mother. Mrs. Kaspbrak is a definite candidate for a spokesperson on how not to treat a person with asthma (like having their child never get married or have a child, and living with their child when the kid may want to leave home and live on their own, but at least she let him get a decent job). If Eddie, instead of Stan, would have been the one to commit suicide, I wouldn't have blamed him (think about it, 40-something years old, still living with mom, and still being treated like a baby, I think that's a motive for suicide).

All in all, the movie was pretty good. I recorded it on TV, and I think that they left out some of the best parts (like the little comedy routine that adult Richie does for his friends), but other than that, it was okay.

Titanic (1996)
A Very Good Movie
8 November 2002
This is actually my favorite "Titanic" movie, even though both are fairly similar. The controversial scene (where the young woman is raped in the shower) might bring nightmares to some, but other than that, it was a very good movie.
