Mehndi is a drama that targets issues that we all face. Love, forgiveness, Fidelity, and trust are some of the issues that it tackles. I am a bid follower of Pakistani television. Ever since the 60's Pakistani television has had the attention of viewers not only in Pakistan but in India, Bangladesh, and Sri Lanka. When you talk about art, Pakistani drama is art. My expectations from the drama were 50-50. I really did not expect much from Model Amina Haq who is in one of the leads. Pakistan has such amazing talent that Models are not really considered to be great actresses. Amina Haq really proved them wrong. Her acting was amazing and really dealt with the issue in her role very amazingly. A house wife who id being cheated on by her husband, she really portrays the emotions of a troubled hose wife very well. On the whole the drama is amazing, its a must watch and only glimpse of what Pakistani Television is. You want excellence? Watch Pakistani dramas.
