When the film begins and you learn that Seats was not only a Nazi, butwas close to Hitler, I thought "Oh Boy, A scary movie with a great historical sub-story" Then ,when poor Alice is murdered so cold-bloodedly by her father (and she was SOOOOOO pretty) the excitement started to really grow! But as the film progressed, I kept waiting for the father's Nazi past to come up, which it never did, hence my low rating. It was a good, interesting movie, too. but they didn't ring up the Nazi past of the father. All in all, I still likes it.

I first saw this film in a theatre in Heidelberg, Germany in 1960, and I'll bet I've watched 3 or 4 hundred times sine then; It's THAT good! It grabs your interest in the first 10 minutes and keeps you interested till the end! If you haven't got it on DVD; get it! You'll never regret it!

As bad as this movie is, you'd swear that Gloria Steinem; Gloria Allred; Carly Fiorina and Hillary Clinton co-produced and co-directed it. It is quite simply a very B A D movie. It tries so hard to be as good as the original, but that's what kills it. It would be like making a film about the Battle of Gettysburg with women in all the lead roles. Women simply are NOT as funny as men, and this awful film proves it. It SUCKS! Maybe a different type of film might have succeeded, but this one died!~ Changing the sex of the stars of a classic old film is usually the kiss of death, anyway. A may God forgive Bill Murray for not doing GHOSBUSTERS 3 before Harold Ramis (RIP) died!

I thought that QUEST FOR FIRE was the stupidest movie ever. NO MORE! Southbound is the W O R S T movie I have ever seen. None of the plots made any sense; especially in what they had to do with each other. I'm glad we have public Libraries, because if I'd wasted money on this film, I would definitely have gotten it back. After watching this retarded film, I went out in my back yard to watch the grass grow; and liked it BETTER! I'm now going to type in 3 lines of gibberish, because I have no more comments. You're 10 line minimum is RETARDED! Get rid of it! Yeah, RIGHT! Yeah RIGHT! Yeah, RIGHT! Yeah, Right! Yeah, Right! Yeah, RIGHT!

Campy and silly as this film is, I liked it. The plot was a little, over-the-top, but believable and very funny. And, for me, anyway, seeing Christina Hart in FULL FRONTAL nude, and some in slow scenes, so you get to see exactly what she has, and that's LOTS! Her bush was exactly that; and More. Her being in the nude was a pleasure to look at, and not just for the obvious reason. She is a beautiful, reasonably talented young woman, and not afraid to show it off. This film is funny, campy, and very sexy. Don't watch it with ANYONE under the age of 12, boys especially, unless you don't mind answering the obvious questions. My Rating is 9.75!! because I LIKED IT!!!

I can't tell you when I have like a movie MORE that I had never heard of before I aw it tonight. I thought the plot was A+; the acting A+, and I fell in love with Josie. Kristanna Loken's acting was SO good, I NEVER once thought of anything but the plot, and how badly I wanted the two leads to get together after the mess was over. Again, a FIRST CLASS performance from all, and my next step is to get the DVD!!! My only complaint is this incredibly STUPID rule that all reviews MUST be 10 lines or more! WHY: if you can say it in 3, 4, 5 lines or even less, what is so wrong with that? Does IMDb want us to be as shallow as the clods in Hollyweird. I'm still trying to come up with another line, but I see I'm already at ten. IMDb; bag the stupid minimum!!!

I got a real kick out of EXTREME JUSTICE, but I knew right off that Lou Diamond Phillips' and his girlfriend's characters were going to screw, it up, and sure enough; they DID! I liked the way the SIS squad got rid of criminals and saved the taxpayer's a ton of money in the process, but that stupid reporter just couldn't bear to see criminals not getting their rights coddled, and her liberal cop boyfriend just HAD to F**K it up, and that's just what they did! I just don't see how people, even movie characters, think like those fools did. Imagine a world where criminals actually got punished for the crimes they commit! Tell that to that idiot reporter and her equally idiotic cop boyfriend. A GREAT film, except for those two bozos!

This "film" cost $12,500,000.00 to make? I could make one just as pointless and stupid for around $11.00. It has no dialog, the acting is non-existent because there doesn't need to be any, and the plot doesn't even exist. It also should have been sub-titled "The Osbournes take The Flintstones to a orgy. It is simply a Horrible film. My very esoteric girlfriend at the time thought it was so bad that we walked out after the first half hour. It should be a Federal Law that if you walk out of a movie before a half hour that you get double your money back; then bill thestudio that made the movie. It's shameful that they can tell you how much money a movie makes the first week or two, but that figure NEVER indicates how many people didn't like it, so all the general, public thinks is "Gosh Betty and Bobby, Quest For Fire made 10 million dollars in just 4 days, Let's go see it"! This film is pointless, plot less, boring and silly. This "film" sucked like Elton John's honeymoon. Avoid it like The Plague!

Is this OK, Mr. Censor?

I got this film on the recommend of several people, but approached it with the attitude that "Oh, here we go; another of those "the-white-people-suck-and-the-Indians-are-saints" films like DANCES WITH WOLVES, which is also a great film, but let's be honest, was deliberately scripted to make whites look like devils incarnate and the Indians to be a cross between Mother Theresa and Gandhi. But just a few minutes into it, I relaxed and kicked back in my recliner, and 2 and a half hours later, when it ended, was a bit disappointed that it had ended. I also found myself wondering that although the Hispanic actors did a credible job, why there weren't any actual Native American actors. A BIG reason I liked DANCES WITH WOLVES was because of the Native American roles being taken by Native Americans. If any remembers the WWII TV show COMBAT, it was great because American actors were American and spoke English; the French actors were French and spoke French, and the German actors were Germans and spoke German. This only amplifies everyone's enjoyment of any show or movie and I am glad that most studios do just that. CHEYENNE AUTUMN may be an older film, but for it's few faults, it's worth watching often, so purchase a copy: you won't be disappointed!

SEE JANE DATE is a film like they USED to make, and it's nice to see that, every once-in-a-while, they still do. This film is so good, I can't think of anyone that it wouldn't appeal to. Charisma Carpenter is extremely pretty and I loved her size; She's a very, very attractive, large woman who looks really good, but at the same time, not skinny or anorexic looking like so many modern female celebrities, and she's cute and funny at the same time. Minutes after seeing this film in a theater, I was home ordering a DVD copy, it's that good. Get the DVD and watch SEE JANE DATE. It will make you, as I am, looking forward to Ms. Carpenter's next film.

First off, I used to not like Denzel Washington because of his political and racial views, but not any more! I thought he was absolutely magnificent in USTOPPABLE! I love trains and train films and this is one of the VERY best! I haven't enjoyed a film so much in many years. It was interesting from minute one, VERY entertaining and extremely exciting, and the acting was first class in all ways. I was hooked 5 minutes into the film an didn't move out of my seat. I'm glad I was with 5 other friends who didn't mind getting me sodas and popcorn and other junk, because I simply could not leave my seat. Unstoppable is riveting, gut-wrenching excitement from start to finish!

Although it is very campy and a little silly, the plot is fairly strong and the acting, while not Academy Award material, was still very entertaining and good. But the highlight for me was the frontal nude scenes with Susan Sennet. What a beautiful young woman and what a fantastic body! If the US economy were in half as good a shape, we'd all be millionaires! She is not only very attractive but a very capable actress and I'd like to see her in more serious parts and films. I've followed her career for many years, and she keeps on getting better and better. Again, BIG BAD MAMA may not be Oscar caliber but it is a very entertaining film and will keep your attention and interest throughout the entire film; get in on DVD today!

I've seen this movies several times, and was able to locate a pirated copy, not to take anything out of anyone's pocket, but I get so sick and tired of waiting for Hollyweird to get films onto DVD! A classic line is when, just after the 3 civil rights workers go missing, some redneck clown is asked by a reporter his feelings, and he looks right at the camera and in a "Cletus" kind of voice says "90 Percent of the world's problems is cause by the negroes and the jews. thank you!" Most TV aired versions cut this clown out, so get a VHS or DVD boot, it's hysterical!!! And IMDb, GROW UP! The "N" word is there, you can't avoid it! Quit hiding it, and thereby legitimize it's use to hurt people. It's a WORD!!!!!That's all - Just a word. Your requirements are antiquated, at times.

Second only to SIEGE OF FIREBASE GLORIA, this is the best Nam flick made so far. It celebrates the absurdity and stupidity of war, yet at the same time reminds you that if you don't want to fight for your freedom, better start learning Vietnamese, Russian, or Chinese! The characters are real, yet farcical (Colonel Ngo Long Dhong?), and their actions from time to time border on the insane, but then something happens to let you know just how human the characters are. I served with a frontline infantry company as a pointman, surviving two tours, so I can attest to most of the realism in the film. It just came out on DVD, so at the very least rent or borrow it, and I think you'll be buying it soon!

I've been studying Japanese and Russian War atrocities for more than 30 years and STILL wonder why Hitler and the Nazis get 99% of the "holocaust" rap. Most people don't know of the rape of Nanking and countless other acts of Jap barbarism, like the fact that the Japanese were DIRECTLY responsible for over 14 million deaths NOT due to war combat, and the Russians, under DIRECT orders from Stalin, killed more than 16 million. Yet all you ever seem to hear is the 6 million Jews that the Nazis killed. YES YES YES, the holocaust was an obscene tragedy of the worst kind, but why don't we rap the Japs for their 14 million victims-after all, the world leaned on us for herding the Japs living in the US into internment camps during the war and then waiting 35 some years to repay them a part of what they lost; but what reparations have the Japanese made to the world for THEIR atrocities? THEY HAVEN'T EVEN ADMITTED IT TO THEIR OWN PEOPLE!! Japanese world history goes up to 1940,then skips to 1946 and continues to the present day!?!?!? This movie is a MUST-SEE! It is accurate, factual, and chilling! Go see it!

And Iris Chang, may you rest in eternal peace, dear lady!

This "movie" sucks like an Elton John-Barney Frank wedding! I will NEVER understand how the Olsen Twins ever amassed a fortune worth somewhere in the area of 500 Million bucks! They can't act; Their videos are too lame to be shown in a mental hospital, their clothing line wouldn't sell in a Gay Clothing Boutique, and they are about as sexually appealing as a bucket of warm scabs. This "movie" is more idiotic than Quest For Fire, makes less sense than a rubik's cube with one square on a side, and has the esthetic appeal of 500 gallons of warm, rancid pus. And has Eugene Levy fallen on hard times, to be seen for even one second in a bomb like this? WHAT WAS HE THINKING??? I wouldn't watch this "movie" all the way through if it would cure my mother's cancer! The only positive thing I can say about the Olsen Twins is thank God they weren't triplets!!!!

I was 11 years old and a civil war nut already when I saw this show in Springfield, Virginia in January of 1961 and I was GLUED to our refrigerator-size Black and white TV set every week when it came on, Friday nights, if I remember correctly. I also remember, even to my young mind, thinking something wasn't right about their rifles, and it wasn't for more than 12 years that I realized what it was--The show was set in 1861 and they were using Model 1876 3-band Trapdoor conversion rifles, which were 1863 Springfield muskets converted for breech-loading cartridges. I still love the show, and will buy it immediately if it ever comes out on DVD!

I saw this movie for the first time at 2:30 AM on TCM and loved it. It was a little hard to follow, not seeming like a comedy or drama, but it showed it's true color quickly, and was great. Dan Daley was fabulous as the somewhat goofy GI perpetually stuck assigned to his hometown, yet wanting to go overseas, and Corinne Calvet WOW! What a babe! And the actress who played his girlfriend-also WOW! The whole cast was great, and the plot funny and workable, once you give it a chance. I can't wait to get this one on DVD, so I can see Vera Miles, another super-babe, in her first, if brief movie role. See this one if and when you can, it's worth the time!!!
