The 1% Club (2022)
Excellent show with the perfect host
This is a show for people who like quiz shows. Unlike The Chase or The Tipping point, it doesn't require you to have a really board general knowledge. The questions on this show need you to use your common sense and logic. There are questions that you can immediately see the answers, but others you have to think out of the square. Sometimes, it's almost a trick question, so you need to make sure you read the questions thoroughly and carefully. It is intense at times as you only get 30 seconds per question. Although, there have been times you will find questions that it's really easy that only a small percentage of the population got right and vice versa.
Lee Mack is the perfect host. His jokes and banners with the contestants in between the questions are entertaining.

Get rid of Jim Jeffries as the host
Jim Jeffries treats this game show as if it's his own talk show. I tune into this show thinking it will be the same as the British version. While the game format is the same, the Australia host is a complete jerk who can't stop talking. He thinks he is so funny but all he does is put people down in a really demeaning way.
Worst of all, he talks throughout the show. You get 30 seconds to answer the question and he doesn't seem to understand that people want to think about the question rather than listen to his moronic babble.
I was going to try muting the TV and read the subtitles, but then channel 7 will never change the host thinking they choose the right host.
Luckily we do get the British version of the 1% club with Lee Mack as the host on channel 8 Eden (NZ), so I'll just watch that.
