I laughed, so it's not bad
8 April 2006
Warning: Spoilers
I laughed several times during this film, it isn't that bad at all, all the actors did very well, I'm not a David Spade fan but even he made me laugh a couple of times.

I"m not going to throw in any spoilers but if you like to have 90 minutes of fun watching a laughable movie, please go see this. I also am trying to see every baseball movie ever made too! Lots of laughs, lots of fun.

hoo woo woo woo ooo ooo ott too ooo snuffer eet hoo doo. Best part of the movie is all the non-catches David Spade makes while behind the plate.

Masterpiece
9 August 2005
Just about all you can say. This is my opinion is the greatest animated short of all time. Perfectly recreating the opera with about everything you need.

Bugs as the snake charmer has always been my favorite part, especially the music behind it. Genius! And not Wile E. Coyote either, the directors, producers and animators all deserved every award in the books for this one.

What's Opera Doc is another masterpiece, well constructed, and brilliantly done by the animators. But sorry, it ranks second place in my book as it's not as humorous as Rabbit of Seville. can't say much more except it's won=der-ful.

Oh come on, laugh!
24 April 2004
That's all I've got to say! Me, and all my brothers will agree that this extremely cheesy and predictable movie is full of incredible laugh out loud moments. I could watch this over and over.

I don't get why everyone has to take movies seriously and rank them according to plot and such... if it makes you die laughing, then it deserves at LEAST 3 stars. I give it 4 out of 5 stars, 5 stars would be a masterpiece, but of course this is not. It's just a fun time to laugh and enjoy.

Rodney does the best facial impressions ever in this movie too.

Watch and laugh will ya? Jeffrey

Snoopy: The Musical (1988 TV Movie)

Wonderful

I have made a promise to myself that this will be one of the first 3 musicals to direct in my lifetime as I love this very much.

The songs, the story, taken from the on-stage musical, jumbled a bit to fit it under an hour to get on tv, are well done, good actors were cast for this animated version. The finale song "Just One Person" is one of the biggest tearjerker songs of all time, and a perfect way to close out the show. I've always wanted to play the role of Linus and I will someday soon.

Those of you who also love the animated version, try and find the CD to the on-stage perfromance to hear the wonderful music.

Not as bad as one would think

I was 13 when this Peanuts special came on, and for me, I was into the breakdancing era, liked all the music from the 80's and always enjoyed musicals.

So this special when I first watched became an instant classic to me, the song Flashbeagle was a well written dance hit, it didn't sound like anything from the radio at the time and could've climbed the charts if released.

Now this is 2002 and having bought this special I can see why it was poorly reviewed and never a big hit for long time Peanuts fans. The story had no plot, just four decent songs and one party, and a small show n tell scene. So although it brings me back memories and I will always enjoy the film, it doesn't rank as one of the greatest. Charles Schulz didn't have much to do with the writing and that's why this failed. Overall: 9 out of 10 just because of childhood memories
