Restaurant Hustle 2020: All on the Line (2020)
Really well done
A realistic insight into the real life problems that Covid has presented. Well balanced and thoughtfully presented. Heart wrenching, I watched it in 4 different sections because I'd start crying and would have to turn it off. Just try to imagine this story times the millions of families and business owners affected by this nightmare.
The scary part is that the final chapter won't be written until Covid is controlled which will be ?????
Perry Mason: The Case of the Sulky Girl (1957)
good with one confusing scene
When the judge arrives at the house at 11:00 p.m., the background scenes are all in broad daylight, from the time he arrives through the exit ride in the car with the secretary Graves.
Next scene, Perry in his office, several moments later at midnight, and it's dark out, as the whole scene should have been.
I wish they would stay true to surrounding circumstances. Frustrating.
And yes, I'm nitpicking.
Sabotage (1936)
master of suspense
I'm never disappointed with any Hitchcock film.
He is absolutely the master of suspense.
This 1936 film SABOTAGE is quite masterful and sneaks up on you. The sinister plots are well laid out and the film moves at a quiet pace, all leading to an unexpected conclusion.
I will never stop marveling at Hitchcock. I've been a fan since the early 1950's and can still appreciate his brilliance.
Watch this film if you have an opportunity. You will be glad you did.
