Why Me? (1984)
Would love to own movie
I remember seeing this movie when I was in college and I still think
about it over 23 years later. I have been trying for years to find the
movie on video or DVD when a colleague of mine at work told me about
your website. Needless to say, I was thrilled to find your review. This
story had it all. Drama, tragedy, suspense, romance and real life
emotion. Just that someone could actually survive something like that
and go through what she did in the aftermath. Then to have someone see
so much potential in her and then fall in love. This was a true love
story if there ever was one. Love of a doctor for a person who would be
his future wife. Love for a patient who would marry the doctor who
basically rebuilt her face. I was awe struck at how determined she was
to live and fight for her life. I would love to see this movie be
remade into a contemporary version since I have told so many friends
about this story. I have only run across one friend who knew what I was
talking about. I would really like to own a copy of the movie as it
was. Any suggestions as how to get one? I have searched the Internet
without success. If anyone knows what site to go on for a video or DVD,
please let me know. Thanks
