Orville Take Note!
16 February 2020
This is how comedy in space should be done, and to be honest with you, this is for the first time in a long time that I have laughed out loud.

You see we have the classics like Red Dwarf, which is funny from the get go, whereas you have The Orville which is not funny, it tries really hard to be funny in places. But it just does not just the mustard for me.

Now Avenue 5 has come along, with Hugh Laurie as captain, and not having to put on a silly American accent, this has had me in stiches. Hugh does straight comedy really well. And it shows in this series, you can watch it without cringing, which you do quite a lot with The Orville.

So, if you want to enjoy something that does not try to take itself too seriously. This show will hit the spot for you. Give it a go, you will love it!

The FBI And MI5 Might want to use this!
26 November 2019
I have never had the pleasure to watch such a terrible show in all of my life. This is painful to watch! Really painful. Which gives me a great idea...

The FBI and MI5 should use this show when they do interrogations on people. No need to water board anymore, watching just one episode would make a saint talk. So the series does have a use after all!

If you are thinking about watching this show, please do something different instead, use those hours you would lose and have some fun instead, go out enjoy the countryside, watch an oak tree grow. It would be more entertaining than watching BatWoman.

Great Story, Worth Seeing...
31 May 2015
Like most, I decided to read the reviews on this site.

For me, the review was one telling me to give it a miss. I am happy to say I ignored that bad review. Really, this film is worth a watch, great story which could be hard to follow for some. As you do need to pay attention, to what is going on, otherwise you will not understand the story at all.

This could be the reason, why some have said it is not worth the look. Because unlike most of the films out today. This one has you doing some mental work, which I found refreshing.

A good line up of stars in this, and the way it was put together made me give it 9 out of 10. I would have given it 10 out of 10, because I wanted to see what happened afterwards.

Worth a watch, full of action and will keep you wanting more all through the film. Hope you all enjoy it as much as I did.

Wow Wow Wow....
13 March 2012
I had to vote this 10 out of 10...

Just for the reason that, to think these series of books were written around 100 years ago, this man had visions, what a creative mind. I have never read the books, however after seeing the film today, I am going to to buy my copy in the next few days.

It is amazing to think that Edgar Rice Burroughs wrote such a detailed account of an amazing SCI FI adventure, really did blow me away.

Also have to say this is the first film that I have seen in 3D that feels like it belongs in 3D, its not forced on you, it feels natural, like its part of your environment... So far other 3D films have made me feel like I want to leave, however this made me feel right at home...

I gave it 10 out of 10 because this series of books started the SCI FI series that we know and love today, I hope we get to see the rest of the series of books made into film soon, as I would love to see the complete story told...

I cannot wait for the next episode!!!

One last thing, when you do go watch this, remember it was written over 100 years ago!

Do yourself a favour... Place back in box and leave well alone!

Warning: Spoilers
Don't even bother watching this, it will make your brain ache, the worst film I have ever seen of The Three Musketeers...

I do not know where to start, having watched the 1973 version, which in my mind was far better, and I would recommend to everyone to go and buy it, that will entertain you, keeping as close to the original book as any film can.

However this pile of trash is not even worth wasting money on, FLYING SHIP'S!

and to think they even hinted at making a sequel at the end of the film, please please do not, its going to be as bad as Steve Martin's Pink Panther.

So why have I missed out the 1993 version, well for me, we had the finest actors in the 1973 film and I feel that was closet to the book out of all the films, also the actor line up cannot be beaten at all.

So rather then going out to rent this or even buy it, just buy the 1973 film called The Three Musketeers. You will have more laughs and no silly flying ships, that belong in Monty Python.

Star Trek Phase II (2004–2016)
10/10
What the fans need... May contain spoilers.
3 January 2012
Warning: Spoilers
Like most of the star trek fans out there, this does bridge a gap of a major lack of TREK on TV at the moment, in fact if Paramount don't start to make a new series soon, I will find myself in a mental ward due to lack of decent Sci-Fi... However this does help, now called Phase II, what the fans are doing for the fans is pretty fantastic. The CGI is near and dammit to the original series, in fact as the episodes role out, they are getting better, in fact the last episode was put together so well I thought I was watching the original series all over again!

The actors have also got better in there roles as time goes by, I know they will never replace the actors we know and love, however this for me is the next best thing, so to all Trek fans and Sci-Fi fans wanting some extra action, due to the lack of on TV, just watch and enjoy... Also remember one thing, they do this for nothing, they make no money from it, its just for us fans made for by fans, in fact James Crawley has gone so far with this project, the Enterprise even looks better!

You will love it, I just want to say a big thank you to all of you that have done this for us, we really do need more TREK.

Yes gave them 10 out of 10 for effort, its well worth a look.

This should have been the second film...
4 December 2011
OK so I gave it 10 out of 10.. Why well because this really was as good, if not better than the first movie, in fact this should have been the second film, in the series, as that was pretty terrible.

That of course did leave quite a few holes, my advice would be this. If your going to watch Universal Soldier, make sure you leave the second one out, then this will make total sense. Apart from the little mistake, its really very good, a lot of work went into this film and it does show.

I loved seeing Dolph Lundgren back in the action, it is good to see him back in more films now, it was pretty spot on, not many words and a great fight scene between the two of them...

However I would say this, I do think this is better than the first film, which is a hard act to follow, yeah I know its not the best in the world and I gave it a full score, however I do think its better then the 5 most of the other people on here have given it...

My advice is rent it or buy it, keep it because you will want to watch it again, some pretty impressive stunts and fights are on the menu, if you like action, this film is for you.
