The Simpsons: Bart Gets an F (1990)
Emotional
Wow!
This episode is definitely one of my favorite episodes.
The plot was amazing and heartwarming and the vibe was amazing.
The characters grow and learn from their mistakes.
This episode was educational, emotional and heartwarming.
I personally really related to Bart in this episode. I also struggle with my studies and even when I study I sometimes fail.
What surprised me about this episode is how Bart reached out to God for a request and god granted him. It was nice and emotional.
I also appreciated how Bart, who's an underachiever and a rebel but proud of it tried his best and studied.
Good job. 10/10.
The Simpsons: Some Enchanted Evening (1990)
Amazing ending of the start
I love this episode. This is an amazing ending to season 1 (even though this episode was supposed to be the first episode ever, but the studio had problems with the animation, so they had to remake the animation again).
I don't know why, but this episode has such a good rainy day vibe and it feels so awesome.
The episode was kind of dark though and reminded me of the previous episode - "Krusty Gets Busted."
The plot was nice and strong, and I'm glad this was the finale instead of the first episode, because if they had started the series with this episode, it would have been kind of weird.
In conclusion, I love this episode.
The Simpsons: Krusty Gets Busted (1990)
Profound & Funny
I loved this episode for a number of reasons:
This episode was funny and had many funny jokes, the plot was coherent and progressed logically and not too fast but not too slow and the animation started to become overall better.
It was also nice and heartwarming to see Bart and Lisa work together in order to figure out the mystery, they're an amazing and cute duo (:
It was kind of creepy to see Krusty portrayed as a crook and a bad person and it really shows you how someone you trust and believe can be someone else.
Overall, I really liked this episode and if you want to watch some good teamwork and an interesting mystery this episode is for you.
The Simpsons: Bartless (2023)
Lovely
When Bart's latest prank causes chaos at Springfield Elementary, Marge and Homer dream of a world in which Bart was never a Simpson.
I haven't watched a single episode of season 34 except this up until now and I only watched this episode because it sounded interesting.
And let me just say - I don't regret that choice at all!
This episode was lovely.
The plot was coherent, the jokes landed.
The Simpson family didn't like Bart because of his mischievous behavior until they've come to realize he made them happy and made the family more interesting.
I liked how each character got to experience a little "Bart" in their life.
It did become kind of boring in the middle but it picked right up.
The Simpsons: My Octopus and a Teacher (2022)
Good but nothing exceptional
This was a good episode. It wasn't bad nor average like the past couple of episodes in the last couple of seasons but it's not a hidden gem and it wasn't that exceptional.
It touched my heart a little bit and the lesson was nice.
I liked the plot with Bart and the teacher more than the B plot (The octopus and Lisa) which was kind of boring, but not that bad.
It's kind of sad that they're replacing Krabappel after all these years, but what are you gonna do, they killed her off because the voice actor sadly passed away.
I don't really understand why some people said this episode sucked, it wasn't bad.
The Simpsons: The Winter of Our Monetized Content (2019)
Lousy
This episode was just terrible.
The plot was really boring and the episode itself had so many flaws and cringe worthy jokes.
The constant efforts to be "cool" and "connect" to this generation came off so desperate.
For instance Bart and Homer flossing was so cringe... Just why?
Instead of focusing on creating a genuine and relatable plot, it felt like the writers were simply trying to be "hip" with this generation and appeal to a younger audience without actually trying to write a meaningful and good story.
A random goofball trying to make Homer and Bart "go viral" is not meaningful.
What a lousy start to season 31.
The Simpsons: Gorillas on the Mast (2019)
Gorillas & Boats
During a trip to a water park Lisa and Bart set free a whale and feel very good about it
Meanwhile, Homer fulfills a lifelong dream of buying a boat, and quickly realizes it sucks.
This was a chill but average episode with a creative idea, but a mediocre delivery.
In my opinion the A plot developed nicely, the B plot seemed like filler, it didn't really "glue me to my seat" and it ended weirdly.
The jokes were really funny though, made me chuckle quite a bit.
The episode wasn't really "engaging" nor exciting but it wasn't boring. It was mediocre at best.
Personally I wouldn't re-watch this episode again.
