Girl: You know in the time this poem was written, we they like, obsessed with virginity?
Teacher: Well I don't know, I wasn't there. Thank goodness they're not nowadays.

Reviews
The Flint Street Nativity (1999)
Should be shown every Christmas (spoilers)
Funny doesn't even begin to describe this. The cast are so brilliant as little children about to do their Christmas play. They act exactly like children. The way they act with each other is brilliant. I especially liked the way the Angel Gabriel kept switching between being best friends the Wise (wo)man and the other Angel. The way she'd suddenly drop one and take the other and then just as suddenly switch back was extremely funny. All the cast were brilliant. I especially liked the scene afterwards where the parents are having drinks. The father of the shepherd who brought the torch for the fire telling one of the mothers that he measured how far the beam of light stretched. "Then some bloke came along and knicked it, but I could see him. I could see him knicking it." All brilliant.
Snow White (2001)
Not your traditional Snow White (spoilers)
Yet it has something that made it very interesting. Miranda Richardson is brilliant as the Queen. She brings a rather comical touch to some scenes such as when she's asking the mirror who's the fairest and she pulls a face to see what happens. She seems to be enjoying herself immensely.
Kristin Kreuk is okay but not very original as Snow White. She seems to be just like Snow White is in every other film. Her father did annoy me slightly at the beginning. He just didn't let go of the baby and when he fell over holding her it just got on my nerves as it probably wasn't a very good idea. The Dwarves were rather comical but I was curios to see that one of them was human size. Heck he was bigger than Snow White. The Prince didn't really get a chance to do anything as he was a Bear for most of the time, and then he was a little bear in a Snow Globe. One Character I would liked to have seen more of was Hector. I know he wasn't really important but he was really good. It was an interesting twist that the person sent to kill Snow White wasn't some guy that the queen brought in but one of the servants who was under a spell at the time. Shame he got killed really. Some parts of the story were confusing and it felt like there was still a long way to go when there was only half an hour left. The story seemed to right itself very quickly towards itself. Overall it was very good but needed your full attention to keep on top of it all.
The Crystal Maze (1990)
Probably my favorite game show.
I used to love this show. It was one where you could easily be a contestant if you wanted to be. You didn't have to be really physical or really smart. You had a go and you had the rest of the team there to help you. Some of the contestants were really useless but most were really good. I've been watching Re-runs of the earlier series i.e. the ones with the industrial zone. And they bring back fond memories. Richard O'Brian was better at the presenting as he would help the contestants if they got really stuck and would occasionally play his harmonica or go off and do something else while they played a rather uninteresting game. Definitely my favorite Game show. Bring it back please.
