Terrible parody of itself
13 February 2023
Well they have finally destroyed yet another franchise. I love these types of films when done well, but lately the marvel universe seems to be written as a terrible 1970s parody of a big budget film. The writing is poor and vacuous. It's like a school year 7 drama lesson on improv. I seem to be writing a lot of reviews like this these days. So why is Disney running all its franchises? All the lead actors in this are playing it as though they are in a low budget children's TV series. Thor is bad enough, but when e get to zeus, I can't believe how far both actors have fallen. I am so glad I didn't see this at the cinema. It seems to me the special effects budget outstripped the budget for a script. Save yourself some misery and don't watch this.

Fantastic film for young and old

Good old fashioned fun and fab animation. Yes at 2 hours it's long, but don't miss this film, it's worth every minute.

The character development is really good making you care about each character. It even has a moral.

But the length means it won't suit younger viewers which is a shame. I know I would have loved this story as a kid. There sint any Disney schmaltz here just great characters.

I am a huge fan of animation and this doesn't disappoint with amazing attention to detail. This must have taken a huge amount of time to animate. Every hair is animated realistically, I can't help feeling that some motion capture must have gone on here to get realistic character gestures and movements.

Terrible.

This garbage tries hard to be some kind of spaghetti Western with a bit of tarrantino chucked in for good measure. But instead it's slow, got no story or pace or style so fails on all counts I have seen TV movies better written.

Very poor remake

Poor script, poor acting, green screen very poor. Early on so eone photos shopped Patrick Stewarts head onto some photos at the beginning, omg it looked like a 5 year old did them.

Avoid this garbage it plays out like a school play.

Doctor Who (2005–2022)

Gone from a must see series to a must avoid series
4 November 2018
I have been a fan of Doctor Who since the 70's. Didnt like the Sylvester McCoy era, but not many did. Christopher Eccleston was obviously doing it as a reboot for his career you can see that in his acting. Now David Tennant was amazing, great scripts, great acting and fab special effects. And so the quality continued for another 10 years until Chibnall took the reins.

Now in 2018 we are given something which seems as though it was written by a school kid. Special effects are ace still. But the acting is abysmal by all the lead characters. The scripts abysmal. Jodie whittaker while I have heard great things anout her in other series, plays this with all the conviction and talent of an 8 year old at a school nativity play. She looks totlly lost in the role. The only actor remotely okay is Bradley Walsh and lets face it quality actor he isnt! But he would have made a better Doctor with a different writing team

I gave it a go, am 5 episodes in but its getting no better. Time to give up.

There isnt a christmas special....... I love the christmas specials.... but this year I cheered when I found out there wouldnt be one.

As for the PC bias in this well I am afraid it has swung too far the other way and got caught up in its PC agenda, rubing our faces in it in every episode. Sorry all you have done is alienate us. I dont want to be made to feel unconfortable about who I am when I watch a family program. Dr Who used to be good wholesome family entertainment with no agenda. Lets get back to that.

Think Low rate TV movie and you are about there

Ok so I quite like B movies and movies done on tight budgets. But boy this is really bad. The script is poor, acting worse still, set pieces... grim. It plays out just like a very cheap cable TV movie or high school play. Definitely the worst movie I have seen in a very long time. I hadnt realised just how bad Antonio is at acting. Seems like many his skills came from the skills of the editor in his previous films if this is anything to go by.

Oh dear

So the original series was good family fun. But this, well lets start with the tag line... They're no angels..... well they aren't actors either. The script is poor, the acting is week, take Minka she just looks as if is she going to flirt outrageously with every bloke in every episode or is this her one look? this week we saw the angels looking after a mother and her son who were possibly going to get kidnapped, what does minka do? Well every time the underage teen boy appears she gives him a lustful look, I was sat waiting for the cheesy 70's blue movie music to start. Obviously it didn't. We also saw the angels scuba dive and swim 3 miles out to sea faster than the rest of the team on a jet boat. Come one this is stretching it to ridiculous levels. This wont get renewed, don't waste hard drive space on the PVR it just isn't worth losing an hour of your life a week on. Watch the original series instead
