Waste of money and time. Gal Gadot looks stunning and acts well, she deserves better movies. Netflix needs to stop making movies like this one. Casting makes no sense. I did not even recognize some of the actors , who are these people? I saw their acting and I am not interested in knowing their names now. It is time for Jamie Dornan to give up acting. It is not his thing. He looks great, but that is all he can offer. His voice, personality nothing work. His dialogue delivery is subpar. I want to finish this review by writing I wasted my time, you should not. So by all means stay away from watching this film.

Kajol shines as the lead. Writing, direction, performances of other actors are to the point. Dont miss this remake. You will enjoy it I will say this show is better than the original. Glad that the makers played with the script and made suitable for Indian audiences. Kajol pushed her boundary and how, when actors of generation including male superstars are either romancing actresses half their age or doing mindless action films, female actors appearing as typical mothers, Kajol did something she never did before. Salute Kajol for her performance and bravery. She is the best actress in Bollywood.

Kajol plays Sujatha, a mother whose son will die. She cannot changes this fact. She loves her son more than anything else but she cannot change the fact that her son is going to die before her. Not all these facts are mentioned in the film. But Kajol's emotions make it clear why she is so afraid, why she is feeling helpless. This is the most challenging role of Kajol's career and she scored star marks. Her performance is easily comparable to Cameron Diaz's My Sister's Keeper. Some will feel Kajol is even better.

For the rest, Revathy did okay as a director. Vishal is good but sometimes a bit.
