Without doubt one of the worst films I've ever seen. Terrible acting, awful continuity, embarrassing storyline and as corny a film as you'll ever see.

I wanted to like this based on the intriguing teaser trailer, but honestly it is terrible from start to finish. You won't warm to any of the characters, you genuinely won't care what happens to any of them, and you will cringe at some of the terrible scenes that materialise through this awful attempt at a scary movie.

Don't waste 90 mins of your life on this absolute drivel, go for a walk instead, have a hot bath, run over hot coals in bare feet...literally do anything but waste your eyes on this mess!

Don't waste your time on this poor attempt at a music biopic...Bohemian Rhapsody, Rocketman and Elvis all blew it out of the water.

No character development or direction, I genuinely had no warmth or empathy for any of them, and the Bobby Brown character was simply awful!

I loved listening to Whitney in the 80's and 90's and was really looking forward to seeing this, but it was just a disaster on every level.

The only shining light in the whole disaster was the always brilliant Stanley Tucci, all the rest were instantly forgettable.

A bridge too far for this Director who could learn a lot from the previously mentioned musical biopics.

Just awful really.

Imagine a really bad tv movie, that's on a channel you never watch, and is shown at 3pm on a Wednesday afternoon, and it will still be better than this absolute babble of complete dross.

The acting is awful, the visual effects are terrible, the storyline makes no sense, the plot is riddled with ridiculous holes, and you genuinely don't care what happens to any of the characters.

By episode 4 I just wanted it all to finish, but painfully put myself through the last 2 episodes, and unsurprisingly it got no better, and it fact got worse.

It's genuinely laughable in parts and makes you wish the oil rig would just explode and end the misery for everyone involved!

Do yourself a favour, give this terrible series a very wide berth!

I'd like to say this film had a deep underlying message about something serious, especially as the first 45 mins are intriguing viewing, but essentially it is absolute non sensical drivel...do not waste your time on this garbage!

Ten minutes into this film I genuinely thought I was going to hate it, the start was strange and I wasn't sure where it was going, but by the end I was absolutely hooked and genuinely had tears filling my eyes.

As a parent you think about everything covered in the film and where your own loyalties would lie in such a situation, but the main highlight of this film was just now brilliantly acted it was by the 4 main characters.

I was literally breathless with emotion at the end and I know it will stay with me for a long, long time. Superb film.

Without doubt the greatest family movie ever made. I remember like yesterday seeing this in the cinema aged 9, and nearly 40 years later it still makes me laugh, smile and cry.

There are wonderful moments all the way throughout the movie and every child should see this movie at some point in their life. Yes the effects are not like the ones these days, but the story telling and warm feeling it gives you inside will give you something to cherish for ever.

ET is magical in every sense of the word and will touch your heart like nothing else.

I haven't got the will or energy to write anything interesting about this film, mainly in the whole because nothing interesting happens in it.

Who writes, makes, or approves absolute dross like this?? It's incredible that actors feel being in something like this can enhance their careers, it was absolutely appalling!

And finally, who on earth gives it positive reviews, it literally has to be people involved in the movie in some way shape or form.

Avoid, avoid, avoid...you have been warned!!! 1/10.

I admit it, I got hooked in by the high reviews thinking this could be a decent watch. But having watched the film, and read the rave reviews, it was clear who was writing them! Don't waste your time on this drivel...terrible acting, awful storyline, no tension or suspense. Worse film I've seen in a long, long time.

What a big fat waste of time that was. Ridiculous premise to a film that showed good early promise. Dragged out with no action, tension or decent acting. I actually wanted to handcuff myself to a bed and go to sleep I was that bored. Terrible.

I can't be bothered to explain why this was so poor, but in a nutshell there is no reason or explanation as to how and why the film pans out. Pointless drivel, give it a wide berth.

I honestly don't know where to start...the cheap shaky camera affects to try and induce a scary atmosphere, the quite horrific acting by all the cast, or just the cheap B Movie cinematography the whole way through the film.

Absolutely avoid at all costs, this is horrific. Oh, and Kristen Stewart is an awful actress...
