Are you CRAZY?

"not nearly as horrible as you've been led to believe"????

This was so bad that I not only want my $6 back, I want my 2 HOURS BACK!!!

SOMEONE keeps greenlighting Tom Green's projects. Shock-treatments might take care of this problem.

According to the video jacket, the NY Times said this was "the funniest movie of the summer". Wow, then we're in for a lot of trouble, aren't we. I can only imagine the rest of the review, "funny" how selective the studios are.

It should have read -

If you're under 12, never read a book and think Drew Barrymore is the one who lost out, then you'll agree that this was the funniest movie of the summer.

I agree that comedy is "subjective", but horrid is horrid.

Human Remains (1998)

Morbidly fascinating

I caught this short on IFC and was riveted! The first-person approach made the film at once interesting and disturbing. These men almost seemed "human", and it was hard to distance their private lives from the personas we know from history.

Though not a short-documentary fan, I am very glad I caught this gem.

Hoffman was superb

DeNiro always gets press, but I think Phillip Seymour Hoffman deserves all the kudos for this film.

This is an ACTOR. Every role he's done has been completely different (although I can think of probably 4 films in which he played a homosexual - each one was unique).
