I love that it addresses issues that many kids face but don't know how to deal with. It covers anything from hair styles to bullying to friendships. SO many topics that I never knew what to say when I faced them as a kid. It also promotes friendships, honesty, loyalty and some positive things that are lacking in so many other shows. A positive influence, Great music and a nice approach to family as well. I love this show!

I wasn't sure what to expect be hoped it would be fairly funny and it was. It was corny in some places no doubt, but so are most comedian films, lets behonest and quite honestly a lot of other comedies get much higher ratings with much fewer laughs. People are roasting this movie and it's not warranted. I think it was a nice spin on the plot, it brought in much of the old plot but gave enough flash back for those who had never seen the first. I feel that after SOOO many years, they did a great job with it and I enjoyed it and so did my teenagers (who had seen the first one). My family loved it. Worth watching for sure. If you're not super critical, you will enjoy it. If people rate it low, they are just nit picking and prob. love Kevin hart movies which are WAY less funny. Most comedy movies are predictable.

Of course, you already know what is going to happen from the beginning. That doesn't stop you from watching in anticipation and expectation. It's very emotional on several levels. Great acting and what an amazing story. The fact that it is true is even more incredible. It's a must see if you have any hope at all or need some! Well done, so happy to see movies with a good subject, good for the family and not a kiddy movie nor is it out there. I applaud everyone involved. thanks, it's refreshing to take my 2 teen boys to a movie (that they asked to go see) that wasn't sex filled. They loved it and felt the emotion as well.

I suspect the bad reviews are not real. I've been recommending this movie to my friends. It's of course very similar to Shallow Hale, but give me a break, most everything you watch is a remake with a twist. It's not super deep, suspenseful or amazing. It is good, clean fun to make you feel better. Quite honestly a Lot of people have esteem issues, admittedly or not. This movie gives some humor to lifting your spirits a bit and saying get over yourself. But you decide... I think it's definitely worth watching and it's funny.

I expected the movie to be decent. My expectations were exceeded. My husband and two teenage boys loved it as well. Everyone had a portion of the movie we could relate to, that touched our hearts. This movie is encouraging but not in a cheesy way. It shares a story of struggle, hope, pain, friendship and moving forward. I think anyone one can enjoy this film. There was great acting, good music and a powerful true story. It's nice to watch a movie without vulgar scenes every now and then. It has a couple of graphic scenes but nothing too bad, certainly some touchy/heavy subjects however. You can certainly bring the whole family (at your discretion). It is not a fast paced movie, no major effects just good old film making. I don't think anyone with a heart would be disappointed with this movie. You can take something positive away from this film and go home thinking I want to live my best life. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the back story was for the various characters. So many times the movie just dives right in and your lost as to who the people are. Overall there was a back end to the main characters and the roles were true to who the characters were written to be.

I thought the movie was very well done, it was a little slow at some points but the high points were super high. Even the slow parts had a lot of story to them so it wasn't boring. I feel it is important to build up the story line so I loved every minute of it.

I liked that it stayed true to character. My husband had read most of the big comic series and I am a Marvel fan no doubt. Unlike the latest Thor Ragnarok which turned Thor into a comedian and was out of character... ... Black Panther stuck with the original story. And I LOVE THOR but was disappointed.... Anyway... About Black Panther...

I think this movie is definitely a must see. I know true Super hero fans will love it and it is good for the whole family, which in my opinion a super hero film should be. Great action scenes, creative story, excellent acting, fantastic costumes and the technology was outrageous. I think that was a breathe of fresh air. Not the same old story again and again.

Not to mention I enjoyed not getting cussed at every 5 minutes. The characters held their power and their parts very well. Bravo Marvel! Well done! Going again soon.

Was hoping for so much more. In Blackish Zoe had good common sense, she wasn't perfect but had a good head on her shoulders. In Grownish there is no thought to being who she was, she's desperate & needy. This show to me is sad. Inappropriate to transfer the same audience from Blackish to this. This show goes in a totally different direction. They should have just created a show and not linked it to Blackish at all. Within 2 episodes she headed in a downward spiral. As a person who totally enjoys Blackish and watches it with my family. Some really touchy subjects are addressed but things turn out decent with a thought provoking ending. Grownish is totally opposite, not good decision making, touchy subjects gone bad and get worse with each episode. Unfortunately for me, my son mentioned the show to me, he watched it first. Had I seen it first, I never would have allowed him to watch it.... Thanks for showing my kid what not to do all the way around. Sex, Drugs, Lies, Irresponsibility...just about anything you can think of that was bad going on in college, you'll catch Zoe experiencing it. Sad spin-off.

A lot of the movie comes from various angles and family perspectives. It has good acting and great actors. It is well put together and certainly worth watching even if you don't like faith based films or bible themed movies you will still enjoy it. Anyone with a conscious would enjoy this film, definitely worth watching.

I loved it. My husband and I thoroughly laughed until my stomach hurt. This movie is very funny and has lots of funny tag lines to laugh about later. I don't get the rude reviews and the harsh comments. I thought it was very well done and a different twist. If you are super critical and everything offends you easily, this isn't the movie for you. But if you like a good clean movie that isn't filled with naked sex starved scenes you will enjoy it. It is nice sometimes not to get cussed out and see every body part on a person. Just good clean fun is enjoyable too. It has many judgmental aspects, but it's a comedy, get over yourself. People make things too deep. The critics are just that, too critical. They rip movies apart so much it's hard to please them.

This movie is funny and as a mother (sister and child), I loved it. My mother would have enjoyed it too. I will be recommending it to whomever wants a unique take on a movie. I thought it was going to be sappy and it wasn't. I laughed repeatedly, my husband did too and so did the entire theater. My sister and I went on a double date, loved by us all. Great movie.

I can't believe this movie got an hour of my time. I didn't make it through the whole thing. I tried to give it a chance, but clearly either the writers were on drugs or are devil worshipers. This movie is in no way like the previews and does not delivers. Major disappointment. This movie has a very odd plot which I could take with no problem, I love foreign films and artsy movies etc. But this is strange, odd, pointless and going no where. I can't express how terrible it was. Don't waste your time. If you paid me to go see it, I wouldn't do it. Don't be deceived by the other reviews unless you love evil tales or movies that seem like someone was smoking something. .. not and entertaining movie at all. Garbage. On my top 3 list of the worse movies I've ever viewed in my life.

Don't hate me... and YES, I love this movie series, but I can say with all honesty that I was a bit disappointed with this one. It is certain that the die-hard fans that are rating it EPIC, 10/10 etc. If people are being honest, this movie was NOT exceptional. I don't think it held up to the same standards as the ones before it. The fight scenes were amazing with no question. The latest graphics/3D etc. were very nice, and added great eye candy. I have read countless reviews about how awed everyone is about the Hobbit and I keep asking myself how? why?, I think it is just what people planned to say it was awesome no matter what the film did. I don't believe that this movie was amazing. I liked it, but it was fairly slow and about an hour too long. I don't mind lengthy movies if it adds a lot more value to the movie, but if an hour was cut out of this one it wouldn't have made the movie worse. The extra hour didn't add additional story/plot to the movie, it was just that, an extra hour. The end was of course expected to leave you wanting more, which it did, but the point at which the movie stopped wasn't far enough in to the story to me (not for 3 hours worth of film). I give it a 6 because I thought it should have been as good as or better than the first few, but it wasn't. Compared to some of the other movies I am awed at the amazing reviews that don't match the film...

I think this movie is getting a bad rap. I found the movie entertaining and I think Tyler Perry did a great job. Is it the best movie in the world? no. But I think that people are being extremely critical. I think it is being rated unfairly and it deserves a chance. I liked the story. Quite honesty, most movies are predictable. It is rare to find a movie that is creative, good acting, amazing story line etc. If the way this movie is being rated was the same judgment scale of some of these other box office films, the 4.8 would be much higher. I think people are judging Tyler Perry by his other film and plays versus by the movie that is actually being reviewed. I thought he did a great job in the movie and I believe it is worth seeing. I enjoyed it and I think a lot of viewers did too. Unfortunately, everyone acts like they are a movie critic and only wants the same people doing movies. It is unfortunate that there are only a handful of African American actors used as the main character of a film in Hollywood with a role other than a Maid, Thief or some down trodden person. To see just a regular role with a person of color was nice and enjoyable. And all things being equal, he did a fine job! This movie was very good and the ratings have been played down and are unfair. Is it an instant classic? no, but it is a solid film that is worth seeing. Give it a chance... Many other films that IMDb viewers have rated at 7+ have been way more predictable than this one, less of a plot and the same people doing the same thing as they did in part 1, 2, 3 on so on. Give this film a fair shot! At least this was an original script...
