I really loved this adaptation. I felt it stuck closely to the book and it was well casted. I initially hesitated to see this version after being extremely dissapointed with "Ten Little Indians/And then there were none.

Rent it - I think you wont be disappointed either

This movie is absolutely fantastic. I had to see it twice to pick up the clues to this story. I was very impressed with Haley Joel Osment's portrayal of young Col . This boy can really act. In fact, I think he is better than some of the mature aged actors of today.

I hope all of you 'guys' out there who haven't seen the movie will enjoy it as much as me. I don't want to rabbit on in case I build it up your expectations...but this really is a brilliant movie. Enjoy!!!!

a sweet story

This is one of my favourite feel good movies. I congratulate the writers on producing a comedy-romance story that doesn't rely on the gratious need for sex, violence or continuous swearing. It is just a really nice movie and I recommend this for anyone feeling a little low and in need of a pick -me- up.

this is definately one of my favourite movies and in my opinion, Mike Myers' best movie ever made. I just about know every line off by heart now thanks to DVD.

This movie doesn't rely on bodily function jokes (ie Austin Powers ), but on a very clever script.

The casting was great and I loved and laughed at Alan Arkin, Michael Richards, Phil Hartman and Charles Grodin in their small, but effective roles.

I found it funny and enjoyed the twist at the end. Do yourself a favour, please rent this one out.

M.F.E.O. (made for each other)

Once in awhile a funny, romantic and sweet story comes along to make you laugh and cry. This is one of them. Movies in this genre are getting more rare. The only other ones in this class are An Affair to Remember and While You Were Sleeping. Please rent this one out if you haven't seen it. I am sure you'll have no regrets. Definately on my all time favourite lists.
