Secretary (2002)
Four Weddings and a Funeral "ON ACID!"
Once in a while a film comes along that blows a genre apart. With Secretary the whole romantic comedy genre has just "jumped the shark."
Look out Julia and Hugh, this little film has just changed the game. You should be worried.
The film is about a couple engaging in S&M sex and what is truly amazing is the film gets away with it. It does so because the film is good. A film of any less quality would have been torn to shreds by every hair growing feminist, quasi fundamentalist and politically correct ass kissing critic out there. But it never happened.
The Mark of Dracula (1997)
Horror film for real horror film fans.
Bravo to the filmmakers. Rarely does a lo-budge video feature attempt to tackle such a fully developed and smartly penned script. Obviously Mr. Ford is influenced by Hammer films.
Mr. Ford achieves a smooth blend of real suspense and deft humor.
It goes to show that a good imagination never did require money.
Alien Force (1996)
Non Stop Fun!
There has been a slew of low budget Alien films in recent years and most of them take themselves a bit too seriously. Wildcat Entertainment's Alien Force does not fall into that trap.
Right from the start the film takes off and doesn't look back. Supported by Ron Fords energetic camera angles and Tyrone Wade's incredible martial arts ability, this film ROCKS!
Burt Ward as the "omnipresent Praximus" is very amusing. Roxanne Coyne as the doe-eyed sweetheart is wonderful.
The editing is tight and the soundtrak is cool.
It's hard to find, but definately worth taking a look at.
