Do you enjoy horror? You wont enjoy this.

This is one of the worst movies I've seen in years. I dont understand the good reviews, I saw the trailer and got excited, I read the reviews and I got even more excited.. I saw the movie and Jesus, not scary at all and the story was just bad.. This is a sci-fi, not a horror movie..

It's not a masterpiece, but..

Okey, so these reviews has gotten out of hand.. Yes, it's not a bloody (R-rated) masterpiece. BUT it's not bad.. The movie itself seemed rushed, like in 7th grade when you had 600 / 1000 words and you kinda just winged it hoping you'd get a passing grade. I'm hoping the second one will learn from it's mistakes and not rush it.

Day 5 (2016–2017)
8/10
Its a post apocalyptic nightmare, without the nightmare?
13 July 2016
So, Day 5. What could be said about this quite unknown show, I for one stumbled over it on YouTube by mistake. I then proceeded to see the first episode, and after that I was addicted.

The plot, without spoiling to much is basically "Dont sleep". That's it, simply don't sleep. As long as you stay awake, you stay alive. Our group of misfits go on a journey to find what started this plague, and perhaps find out how to stop/cure it, while themselves getting drained by the crude state of not sleeping. Since most of human kind has died, there's a very post apocalyptic feel to the whole thing. And as the days pass, those who don't sleep get even more insane and violent.

It's really a great jewel of a show.

A new refreshing TV-series
14 July 2014
This is the first show in a long time that's keep me on my toes throughout the show. Yes, we've got some great TV-shows in the time we live in, but we've also got a lot of horrible stuff. 95% of the TV-shows that come out these days are simply horrifying, and a blind kid could write better plots with Pooh. (Fun fact: This is actually how Jersey Shore was made!) And that's why I feel that I should write a good review about this show, it deserves it.

The plot is pretty good, without spoiling anything I'll just say the plot is basically that a virus comes in on an airplane and the CDC is trying to stop it from spreading. Our lead character is Dr. Ephraim Goodweather! (Corey Stoll/The bald guy from House of cards) and he does a stunning job. The wig also deserves some credit, it looks very real. We've also got Abraham Setrakian (David Bradley/Crazy cat guy from Harry Potter) who playes an old man as he does in most of his acting, after he became old.

This is summer entertainment at it's best, we've had some gruesome summers lately. (Under the dome..) and it seems like that's about to turn around! It's a "must watch". We've got no Game of Thrones, so we've gotta take what we get. And I'm very pleased that we got this!
