As a 16 year old myself i wasn't around in the ABBA era..but I've always had this love for old music and musicals, so when i saw the trailer for Mamma Mia! i couldn't wait to see it!
I thought this film was brilliant and the best i have seen in a long time, the cast were wonderful! I have only ever seen Meryl Streep in the devil wears prada so i had no idea what to expect but she was perfect. and Amana seyfried as the daughter was wonderful. And the 3 possible dads well they were charming! okay pierce may not have the best voice but he made it is own. Colin is gorgeous so that was enough for me! But Julie Walters was definitely the best! she was hilarious! Especially in her song take a chance on me i laughed the whole way through This film had me in hysterics and also tears(slipping through my fingers) I've seen this film twice now and cant wait to see it again...it will definitely get a lot more people to the west end show
Although it was brilliant i was disappointed by the cinema audience! I read other reviews where they said people were dancing in the aisles and i really wanted that to happen where i was...i was just sitting in my seat wanting to jump around and sing but no one else was...ill have to wait till the DVD comes out!!
