Wasted Opportunity
9 September 2022
Warning: Spoilers
Mishmash of multiple plots, immaturity in acting, wasted roles and in essence, a good plot wasted in execution. Acting could have been a bit more serious and coherent, romance at odd places - do we really need such sort of additions? They destroy the seriousness of the movie. And more importantly, Nagarjuna. Why exactly was he brought into the movie and given such a stupid ending? That reminded me of the scene in Indiana Jones where that master swordsman was killed with a single bullet even before the fight started. Sorry to say again; this is a completely wasted opportunity. And note. The movie is not at all related to Hinduism from any angle. Don't go to the movie under that impression. It's a just another fantasyverse with it's own weapons and superheroes - and nothing more.

Great Script, Poor Scriptwriting - Good Movie to Watch
21 August 2022
Good movie to watch. Screenplay and choreography took a hit, the scene sequence is a bit predictable but except them, the action sequences, the actual storyline and acting is really good.

Good Plot and Scenery, Bad Acting and Screenplay
15 August 2022
Better rename the movie Mojin: Planet of Apes. A very good plot destroyed by bad acting and bad makeups. The movie could have been made far better - it has a really good plot and overall theme.

A Good Suspense Thriller after a Long Time
6 August 2022
Different, engaging and a good movie to watch with a superb script. Let's not forget Kannada is a very small industry and some sort of issues are bound to crop in the movie but don't look into that. A typical crime setting and a new police officer tries to solve the mystery - the story is all about what he does, his equation with the villagers and his personal life relating to the events. A rare good movie it is.

Another Benchmark Movie
30 August 2019
For an Indian movie, it's a benchmark. But, what's the problem? Those who watch Hollywood, it's not up to the mark. For the balance of India, it goes above their heads. Worth watch once or twice, some issues with action and costumes of side characters and may be, it's slightly longer but, overall, it's a good movie to watch. For the money invested, it's superb for VFX and screenplay.

A Trendsetter for Indian Industry
29 April 2017
This movie, even better than the first part, has set Rajamouli as a director par competition in Indian industry. The movie was a superb package but, where the director erred was, he identified, too late, that there is no time for the contemporary story. It was a shoddy work as compared to climax or even the first movie. That's the reason for my score - 9 for the flashback and 7 for the current one. But, whatever, it's a superb visual treat and you will not be diverted for the whole length of the movie. Best piece - last 15 min before the interval.
