20 years to come out with this crap ? The core concept of independence day 1 is the contrast of human primitive current technology vs alien's high tech devastating technology, and how the underdog against all the odd to beat the high tech alien. But in this ID2, the first few scenes that human are using alien's spaceship, completely destroyed the core concept of ID1. And too many characters, none of them interesting, too many talking that nobody cares, all over the places, completely wasting scene time. i really hope the alien just blow them all up for good. At the beginning of the movie, when the cube came, and the hero said it was a mistake to blown it, you would have roughly idea how the alien would be defeated. While the alien mothership is bigger, more devastating, but the destruction scenes are too fast, camera shot too wide and far away, hence no excitement and not much emotion into it, lack the punch. The most weakest link is the story itself, they should have just faithful to the core concept of ID1, instead of bring in alien vs alien and all those human alien tech, completely ruin the movie. I want to see US's latest current aircraft and weapon vs alien tech, not stark trek alien vs alien.

It's a very moving animated film, worth a watch. but i think the screenwriter should have given Elsa more screen time. While Anna just another tangle Rapunzel, Elsa's character is very interesting, and i really like to see more about her, especially how she felt, her inner world. Her inner world must be very complicated, quilt, release, alone, fear..... i also think they should have given more time to build the love relationship between the caveman and Anna, and more screen plot between the two sisters. at the end, the defrost scene, the climate of the story, is happening too fast, they should have given more time for this climate scene to push the emotion to the highest.

good movie, better than all the superheroes movie recently. the apes carry the movie very well, much better than all the human casts. the hero ape Caesar should be nominated by best actor for Oscar award. the cgi is damned good, just look at their eyes, it's full of emotion.

can't wait to see the next installment how the apes and Caesar take over the world. but for those never know anything about the past "planet of the apes", they might think the ending hanging.

one thing need to mention is, according to the original "planet of the apes" the apes didn't conquer the world from human, it's the human kill each other (world war) that destroy the mankind them-self and then the apes rise and take over the world.

The best scene of the movie was the opening scene, the Japanese girl in the rain sequence, after that, the whole movie is quite disappointed. This episode didn't offer anything new, except for the 3D. There's almost like no script at all, the character are just moving from one scene to another. They should act more zombie blasting in the movie at least. The final showdown between the bad guy and Alice also not exciting and not interesting, the only fighting scene interesting is when the scene where Alice battle the zombie at the root top, and running shooting the zombie in slowmov.

is very obvious they don't know how to move the story from the previous episode, so they just kill all con Alice's and also Alice's power at the beginning of the movie.

if not for Milla, i think this is a cheap B rate movie just try to ride on the 3d bandwagon to make some quick buck.

for the audience, there's a shot in the middle of the credit roll, so don't leave too early.

The original Predator was far more better than this one. This one is quite the same with the first one where some tough guys trap in the forest and kill by predator one by one. This one is for the new audiences, i guess. The first 40 minute you didn't see the predator, just like the old one where the director tried to create tension by not revealing the predator to the audience. But,it failed because most of us already known the predator inside out for so many years. And the characters talk about how scary the predator was, come on, we knew this all already.

anyway, just for entertainment, and watched some machine gun shooting, doesn't hurt to watch this predator 3.

I think the movie will be better if it end up with the entire human race destroyed !! As a human myself, i think there's no way that we will ever repent and change. The ending that all the electrical and electronic equipment not functioning is not enough, it's very easy to be fix back, and then the human race will continue to destroy the earth again.

Keanu also never get the chance to lecture on his mission to save the earth, all the human know is , the alien is coming to destroy earth. The 'green' message never get to pass to the human except to the heroine. So, there's no question of 'regret what we have done to the earth', all the other know is 'this is the bad alien and it's gone now, live go on' from the title, i actually expected that the ending will be every mankind stood still forever !! What a disappointment !! the bugs could take out the whole truck in a matter of second, but not a little boy and a girl in a minute ?? The alien robot raised it's hand up kind of like 'bye-bye' before turn into bug is so funny, it would be better if it just turn into bug without doing anything.

1. All the while michelle yeoh was talking to her daughter in mandarin, how come suddenly in the end when michelle died, they talk in English !! 2. Michelle yeoh's boy friend, speak very bad bad bad mandarin, better to ask him to speak in English at least someone understand.

3. how can the two heroes able to beat Jet Li, ridiculous, the worst part of the movie, not convincing at all. even if jet li lost all his superpower, the two would not able to beat him.

4. Since jet li had turn back to normal human body, and so did his horse, then why his army not turning back to normal!! 5. when jet li turn into rock, his body posed is not like the one found later in the movie.

6. The son and father look more like a brother.
