Kingdom Hearts (2002 Video Game)
A perfect collaboration between two entertainment giants!
3 November 2002
Like most other Square Fans, I was extremely skeptical when I first heard that the RPG legend would be teaming up with Disney, of all people, to produce a game. However, as time went on and more screenshots and gameplay tidbits were released, Kingdom Hearts became more and more appealing. Thankfully, When the big release day finally arrived, I was not disappointed. Square had managed to perfectly intergrate the Disney mythos along with the Final Fantasy universe to create a game of a game. Square has once again shown its talent for creating magical RPGs.

Kingdom Hearts is truly a stunning accomplishment and may very well be the game of the year for 2002. The biggest problem with Kingdom Hearts is that many gamers are bashing it because of the inclusion of the Disney characters without even playing the game. This is very short-sighted. Kingdom Hearts is a classic game, and if you own a PS2, this is one game that should absolutely be in your collection.

From the sensational graphics to the engaging gameplay, Streets of Rage 2 has it all! If you ask me, no other fighting game can compare with this one! Even if you just get one fighting game the rest of your life, get this one!

Streets of Rage (1991 Video Game)
A classic.
3 November 2002
This without a shadow of a doubt was one of the best games of all time, and one of the ones that stuck out in the memory of consumers. It had two sequels, which just add to its greatness. The fun factor on this is through the roof its always a good time when your playing Streets of Rage, especially with two players. This game will go down as one of the classics on Mega Drive. If you still got that Mega Drive and don't have this game by all means you should think deeply about getting it.

Grand Theft Auto: Vice City (2002 Video Game)
What more could you want?
3 November 2002
Obviously, this is a great game. It's a HUGE game, both in actual size and consumer hype. I believe it lives up to that hype, as it improves on pretty much every minor "flaw" that Grand Theft Auto 3 had. With tons of new cars, music, pedestrians, sounds, weapons, costumes and property to own...how can you not want this game. A possible candidate/winner for Game of the Year, Grand Theft Auto: Vice City is a MUST BUY!

Star Fox Adventures (2002 Video Game)
Best Star Fox game to date.
3 November 2002
This game is really great. It's gonna last a LONG time to beat, but it will be really fun along the way. Once you pick up the controller, you will never wanna stop playing. The graphics are really amazing and a marvel to look at. The battle system and extra side-quests are really fun. Boss fights are golden and can be really fun to play. Overall, this game is one of the best yet. Once again, Star Fox has delivered a hit title to add to their golden collection. Pick it up today and let your own adventure begin!

SSX Tricky (2001 Video Game)
Great sequel for a great game!
3 November 2002
This game is amazing. There are a few bad things about it, but overall it is great. In my opinion, everyone should try this game out. I think that most people will like this game a lot, People who own SSX, or have played it a lot, might not want to buy this game because of the lack of new features over the last game. I would recommend for previous owners of SSX to might rent this game, everyone else should either rent or buy SSX: Tricky. If you have the option between buying SSX or SSX: Tricky, definitely go with Tricky, it is worth the extra money that it costs.

Super Mario Sunshine (2002 Video Game)
The Sun truly shines in Super Mario Sunshine.
3 November 2002
Super Mario Sunshine is most definitely the best Mario game out there. Great graphics, Storyline, gameplay, and even replay value combine to make Super Mario Sunshine One of Miyamoto's best works, I would have to say. This is the perfect sequel of Mario games, and with a few flaws, this game will be enjoyed to people of ages.

Crazy Taxi (1999 Video Game)
Crazy Taxi is Crazy Fun.
3 November 2002
Crazy Taxi is a brilliant looking game. From the highly detailed and realistic roads and buildings to the nice looking cars. The graphics play a huge part in making the two cities featured in this game look and feel alive. There are also added effects like sparks flying out of your car which add to the graphics. The game also runs at a very impressive 60 FPS. In fact, it's very hard to tell any differences in terms of graphics to it's Naomi board Arcade brother. There is also occasional Slowdown, which happens to be unusual considering the fact that it happens when there isn't a high number of polygons flooding the screen. Both of these problems are far more frequent in the Dreamcast city. But they are only minor nuances and won't leave you feeling a little frustrated.

To say that there is a lot to come back for would be a lie. There is only ONE thing to come back for, and that is the fun. There is added Crazy Box mode which gives you missions to do and is a bit like a training mode, but you won't be coming back just for that. You'll be coming back for the incredible amount of fun that this game offers. The exclusive Dreamcast city that has been added to the home version of the game also highly ups the replay value.

All in all, Crazy Taxi is one of the most addictive games ever made.

Night Trap (1992 Video Game)
Still a great game.
3 November 2002
Night Trap is a hell of a game that keeps you in your toes from the start and it is one of the best games that you can get for the Sega CD. With the distinction of being a game that featured a hell of a murder theme and being one of the first games to spark a history making decision in the video game industry, there is plenty here that makes it worth having, simply because of the historical value. The story line, while cheesy with the dialog is still impressive and you can find enough here to keep your interest through all of the different scenes. if you're a collector, then this game is for you and even if you're a 32X/Sega CD owner, then this game is definitely for you.
