Billions (2016)
Massive decline.
This used to be one of the best shows with great characters and a hint of realism and comedy.
In the last seasons it has become a show about "kickass" women who are smart, hard working and likable in a word of macho guys who waste time bickering and seem like blabbering fools.
In the latter seasons, Giamatti and Constabile carry the show. Giamatti's relationship with his father is peculiar and always keeps the viewer guessing. Constabile playing an over-the-top unlikable oddball bordering on a clown, yet still entertaining.
The show could simply eliminate all the initial characters and turn it into a show about female and minority empowerment, despite it being utterly unrealistic.
The Dropout (2022)
Good actors, horrible misrepresentation of real events
Elizabeth Holmes was a sociopath willing to do anything to achieve success. This show is trying to show her as some sort of a victim, someone who had good intentions. In reality Holmes had only one objective which was to become a billionaire who is admired by many.
Note to the show creators: sociopaths have different brains, they don't feel empathy at all and they'd never shed a tear over anyone. They would only have rage when things don't go their way. Seyfried's acting was good but she was overly sensitive, something that was very unlike the real Elizabeth Holmes.
Greyhound (2020)
Wartime propaganda mistimed by 80 years
Another faceless Hollywood production with Chinese funding but about 80 years out of date. The only one with a personality is the captain, the rest of the cast are boring and instantly forgettable.
Demonized Germans are 2-dimensional and cartoonish. The radio communication scene can only entice laughter.
Special effects are decades out of date and there's nothing interesting shown of the ship. Skip this one.
A Beautiful Mind (2001)
Fabrication
First off, the movie was not true to facts at all. I just saw the documentary a few days earlier and the movie wasn't anything like it. First of all Nash was a genius at mathematics and this is what the movie should have been about not a story about a man who was cured and who found love at the end and so on. Also there are a lot of scenes that were just plain wrong - the scene where he rode around with a bike at the campus happened in his early university years not after it. In my opinion Russell Crowe didn't fit to this part at all since he doesn't look the intelligent/individualist type, therefore he really couldn't play one. It would have been great if it would have focused more on the mathematics (similar to Pi) and not the over-dramatized lovelife. At this level ABM was too hollywood-ish and too superficial to be great. Personally I think he wasn't mad nor paranoid and he was onto something since people of that caliber tend to know more than we "lesser mortals". 5/10
