Excellent portrayal of one of the poorest regions of central Europe and also the challenges of having a speech impediment. But the hero's condition is not the main focus, just a clever way of channeling the struggle of escaping our roots. Vilmányi Benett clearly put a lot of effort into this role and you really feel for his character. This movie makes you appreciate everything you have in life and will certainly leave a mark. Not an easy watch, no light moments, every second is completely focused on the problems at hand, almost claustrophobic. Highly recommended nevertheless, very well made movie.

This movie was probably conscientiously designed with the goal of teaching some valuable life lessons to the increasing portion of the population with 15 second attention span. Some scenes were clearly shot for the trailer and the movie throughtout fights HARD for your attention. There's no problem with this, the goal is noble. Several plot elements and the main message are very similar to an early Rick and Morty episode to the point that it probably inspired this movie. Of course there are plenty of original ideas as well, the movie was made with great care and effort.

This movie was made with great care. Every shot is well thought through, almost like in a cartoon. This is no surprise as anime was a strong inspiration. The action perfectly integrated into the story which is rare and very hard to do. Completely unique, almost iconic orchestral score. The beats of the story are all at the right place. The epic scope and the faultless technical execution makes this the ultimate hollywood blockbuster. This was the last true event movie that made a lasting impact on the industry.
