This is like a Superman movie, but only with Clark Kent :(
12 May 2020
Hello! Like i said in the title, this is like a Superman movie, but only with Clark Kent, or if you want is like filling a shinny bottle of Moet with piss inside; it is that BAD. I don't know what was in the writer/director's head when he decided to come up with this abnormality.

Very slow burner without any kind of story-telling craftsmanship...
11 April 2020
This is a miniseries that takes it's time and take it's time.... until you start to ask yourself how long it is and you realize that you want to end as soon as possible; the fact that the story is so slow, without anything really happening was to much for me. The dialogues were completely illogical at some times, the way the story unfolds is nonsensical and when it needs to be linear is not; in the sense that they are using to many flashbacks. I give it a 5 stars just for production reasons.

THE GERMAN VERSION OF LOST - you have been warned!
11 April 2020
The same waste of time like Lost you will experience with this show; you better watch Babylon Berlin instead - a really inteligent show with a much better script, with every episode bringing something new; in Dark nothing actually really happens, you will end up watching/losing many hours for nothing... just like Lost :((

Starts out well, it ends in an absolute disaster...
1 April 2020
I can't believe what i have just seen! It starts well, with real funny moments and knows when to be serious, it builds up an antagonist character and then, after half an hour - all logic and everything rational goes down the drain, it becomes a clear case of NO BRAINER writing, i mean... my 11 years old nephew would have come up with a better script and dialogue; and the end!?!?! OMG - i'll let you see, i have no words, THAT BAD IT IS :(((

Disapointed...
22 March 2020
I had much more expectations from Cristophe Waltz, but his film did not delivered, sorry to say. The story just doesn't deliver. Is not a disaster, yet far from a good movie.

Swamp Thing (2019)

It does not give enough attention to details, unfortunately...
31 May 2019
It does not pass the test of science-based scenario i am afraid; for example a high qualified CDC scientist analyzes a foreign (almost alien) tissue sample without at least the minimum precaution of wearing a breathing mask or someTHING on her mouth and with her hair wide spread, almost touching the sample - just to make her character look attractive, i presume... and the way the people react on such incredible situations, it's not naturally, they get over it much too easy. They should have payed more attention to details. I give it a 7 rating for two reasons : the fact that is R rated (but that's also the reason why i'm pissed they didn't put more effort into the writing) and the way the Thing looks at a first glance. I hope this review is useful for some of you, thank you for reading!

The Predator (2018)

I am so smart for not paying to see this :))) Advice: Wait until is on free cable tv!
9 November 2018
Well, i just downloaded this for free (i know, is unethical) and i'm still pissed for the electricity i've consumed to watch this parody (yes, is that bad). Actually, is even worse the AvP - Requiem, which was filmed without a proper/professional light-technician, as you probably know, if you've seen the movie. There's no more art in this industry today, it's all about making money; i think - if there is a way for the producers to make one dollar, literally - one dollar more at the cost of transforming a piece of film from something above average into a disaster/trashy/garbage... well, for that just - one dollar they will say "YES, do it!" not considering at all the art value of their product/enterprise, is that low they've become; instead of, of course - saying "that damn dollar is not gonna make us destroying a good film". Now i will watch Predator 1987 for the 12th time to get my spirit lifted ;)

IF YOU LIKED THIS MOVIE, YOUR IQ IS BELOW 55 - IT'S FOR A FACT !!!!
22 May 2018
You can not be an intelligent human being and enjoy this movie just like oil can not be mixed with water. I'm amazed of how many stupid people are in the world and use a laptop/phone/computer (much clever than themselves, actually:) to rate a movie like this with more than four stars. This film is for people with an IQ below 55 - trust me!!!!!! John Krasinski is not made of matter, is made of plot holes...

THE END

What happened with Hong Konk movies these days?
16 March 2018
I am remembering the days when i was watching at least 7-8 films from hong kong cinema each year and one or even two movies from these would have make my back-hair lift of excitement and awesomeness. But since 2008 or 2009 forward, i must say, the chinese/hong kong movie industry has become something without head and tale. The screenplays are at the lowest level of intelligence, the editing of every film is downright baaaad, they are trying so hard to copy american movies, that it makes me almost wanting to give up watching any movie from HK or the main land. Jackie Chan, Jet Li, Donnie Yen... it's been a decade since any of them had made a good movie (the last big HK movie beeing IpMan - first part from 2008). I am only hoping that someone will appear, someone new (a director and writer), although is hard; i think the audience in china is very uneducated and they love films that are so easy to swallow, and they are many, there strenght is in their numbers. But who knows, maybe with not so many money, but with conviction, a young writer/director will get his chance, you never know. Greetings from Bucharest, Romania! :)

Thank you, mister Michael Green and John Logan!
17 May 2017
Thank you, mister Michael Green and John Logan! These two untalented writers are responsible for this mindless story with other two no-names, debutants, that i will not even mention for their contribution to the screenplay. John Logan, ironically is the man responsible for that dreadful script for Spectre (worst James Bond ever). Michael Green on the other side is much, much worst - he has written that horrible Green Lantern after which, even the lead actor Ryan Reynolds stated that he was so close to put end to his career (thank God along came Deadpool), he has written Logan - such a stupid story full of plot holes like a Swiss cheese with those kids at the end of the movie (they were supposed to be some killing machines and they were all running from a few simple soldiers, although at the beginning of the movie, just one girl kills a dozen of them all by herself -remember; and the incredible lack of imagination shown, by adding another Logan to fight Logan :)))) he was just unable to create another character, the poor man) and get this - he has written the story for the new Blade Runner, so beware, my fellow sufferers, you've been warned!!!!

PS: he is the writer of the new show (which i must confess, i still follow - YET) - American Gods :)) uuuhh, i have a bad feeling about this show already; until now it's story is still foggy and keeps u intrigued, but...... i have lost my trust in this man's talent and imagination and i am ready to bet you that the story of this show will blow right in our faces. Kudos from Romania to all of you and i put an end to my review by screaming out loud to all those executives from Twentieth Century Fox:

Give NEILL BLOMKAMP a GREEN LIGHT!!!! PLEASE!!!

it's about demons, quite scary, i'll say...
5 March 2009
Look at this movie with a good sound and a big, big LCD, alone in the house, at night and then, you'll have the right to post your opinion about it; it does have something from the Asian horror film, i'll give you that, but it has some "Evil Dead" influence also, it does not contains any of the 'horrible superficiality', characteristically to the American movies, you will not find any of that crappy binded us-horror-movie jokes, it's really a scary movie. One more thing: if , there something to complain about this film, it's the lenght (87 minutes-including the 8 min. credits). See it on the big screen, or rented it, you will not regretted, if you are really a lover of the horror!
