Alice called this "Splatter Rock!!"
6 April 2003
This video captures Alice Cooper's amazing live show at Joe Louis Arena in Detroit, Michigan, October 31st, 1986. It's been awhile since I last saw this vid, but it's something I'd highly recommend, especially to his hardcore fans! Turn the sound way up, and the lights way down low! Light some candles, have some fun and relive the spirit of the live experience! This was the best Halloween Rock Show ever, and I know because I was there man!!!! You can be too! (with the right home-entertainment system!) There are some very interesting theatrical moments, and great characters, including an extremely tall & leggy nurse!(Yes. Hell-o Nurse!)

Astute rock fans will be able to spot Kip Winger in Alice's band, before he started his own group. Lead Guitarist Kane Roberts may look just like "Rambo", but the only thing he destroys is the notion that all guitarists are skinny. He has worked very hard on both the guitar fretboard and the gym. The whole band is first rate, and you'll hear that on the video, as they perform the parade of Cooper Classics. I'd also highly recommend the album the tour was based on:"Constrictor" (also from l986.) I caught this show in the halcyon days of 80's Metal with two of my best friends. One of them is probably "the Coop's" biggest fan. He brought his girlfriend who was a good sport. She wore her Alice eye make-up with the best of them! Alice Cooper is a living legend. A rock star of huge significance, who should never be forgotten. His influence on everyone from KISS to Marilyn Manson is undeniable. He is also a decent actor, a great golfer, a witty, intelligent man. For a guy who made a living looking like a creepshow corpse, he is one hell of a nice guy! In his case, the nice guy finished first!
