Midsommar (2019)
Way to drawn out
I searched Florence Pugh after hearing raves about her in A Good Person. That's when I found this in her filmography and saw this available on demand. Although I enjoyed some of her performance, I do believe this will be the joke someday in the future, that she even did this film. (From Dusk Till Dawn with George Clooney comes to mind). Other than that, I found the relentless dancing scenes to be annoying and like "filler" for very little story. The musical score was very engaging. I will also look for more work by Jack Reynor, also very easy on the eyes.... and finally, the use of non-lifelike dummies was pretty indicative of a low budget.
The Terminal List: The Engram (2022)
Lighting is a big fail
Hope you're not trying to be artistic or set "a tone" with such poor lighting...it's not working ! Even home and outdoor scenes hard to watch. Unnatural.
Jimmy Kimmel Live! (2003)
The mean guy just isn't funny anymore
If you're hoping for some laughter and entertaining and fun banter at bedtime, you won't find it here. His political views are so boring. It's like he's kicking a dead horse night after night after night. We stopped watching a couple years ago. God, how we miss Johnny...is anybody even close??
The Undoing (2020)
A beautiful piece of Art...will def watch again!
I loved every minute of this....character development, editing, soundtrack, costumes, and especially the actors. Nicole Kidman and Hugh Grant and, of course, Donald Sutherland, are seasoned actors and kept me intrigued all the way thru. The best surprise was the younger actor, Noah June who played the son. I will be following his work in the future! I was never sure which way this would twist and turn, so the end didn't matter...I had so many scenarios riveting in my mind and kept me guessing till then!
