Kick-Ass (2010)
Don't miss this movie!
This is THE best movie I have seen all year. Its got everything you could want in a movie! Action, romance, comedy, and violence!! All rolled into one package. I promise you after you are coming out of the theatre from seeing this movie, your going to be doing what every one else thats seen it has been doing: Planning when you can come back to the theatre and see it again. Its that good. The previews do not do it justice, its not anything like I expected, and its everything that I wanted. The cast is genius, each one of them nailing their roles. Nicholas Cage plays one of the best roles I've ever seen him in. This is simply a stunning movie, and you owe it to yourself to see it at the theatre in all its glory. To put it simply, this movie KICKS ASS!
Bullets, Blood & a Fistful of Ca$h (2006)
This is an action film.
If you like Quentin Tarantino type action movies, IE Pulp Fiction, Kill Bill, then you are going to like this movie. Shot with the same kind of gritty camera work that made movies like Three Kings so interesting, this movie doesn't disappoint. The main character is who you want to be. He is THE man. The story is great, complicated, and confusing all at the same time. The characters are wonderfully cheesy, unique, and unforgettable. The fact that they made it with an uber low budget (50k????) is just remarkable. I've watched studio films that were not nearly as entertaining as this. Its like a soap opera, you have to keep watching to see what happens next! If your looking for an evening filled with lots of action, gunshots, gangsters, and plenty of gore, this film is your ticket!
Mech Commander (1998)
Mech Commander one of the best games ever
This was one of the best computer games ever made. The opening cinematic was awesome, and rivals some that you see today. Sure sure, the quality is much better now, but the story, acting, and outright coolness is just as good as any new games opening. Its really too bad that Microsoft decided to "streamline for a more mainstream audience" the next version of this game, and the next version of Mechwarrior. Basically they dumbed it down, because I guess they figured it was too complicated for gamers. Well the sequel pretty much sucked in my opinion, as did MW4. Sure it was pretty, but it just wasn't the same as the originals. Too many things you couldn't do. Hey guys, mainstream audiences don't play games with giant robots! Anyways, great game, great cinematic. I just reinstalled it on my new computer. Its 11 years old, how many games that old do you know that people still play?
