Gakkô-gurashi! (2019)
Watch the anime first
Big fan of the animated version. I was on the edge the whole time. There were a few jumpscares and theyvwere effective. If you are a horror/zombie genre fan who's looking for hardcore scare this is not for you. But if you are an anime fan who wants to see the animated version come to life, then this a good one.
Rim of the World (2019)
Decent film if you don't take it seriously
I guess the awkward script and cheesy lines are part of the 90's early 00's vibe. Also the stereotyping and drops of racism are I think 90's thing.
It was okay. Good for a few laughs.
Black Summer (2019)
DexM
My only complaint is that there seems to be too many deus ex machina moments. Also in episode 9 where they learn about Spears not being Spears, that's a bit too late into the "plot" to put that in.
Aside from that, the show is exciting to watch and ticked all the boxes for a great zombie apocalypse movie.
Yummy Mummies (2017)
Can't decide
I think this is "It's so bad, it's good" kind of thing. Like how you can't stop looking at car crash. My only hope is that Valentina would reject her Mums lifestyle and be a normal person.
And also I think people are missing the point about the breastdeeding in public thing. Maria and her mom are so ridiculous that I can't even take their indignation seriously. If the three gals from Melbourne are there, they'd probably roll their eyes at the two. Except for the tall one.
La La Land (2016)
How???
How th did this film get an 8.0 rating? I stopped watching even before Gosling and Stone met. It's so bland and uninteresting.
Charmed (2018)
I'd rather
..watch the original again. The pilot was just painful.
