Fakes (2022)
Really like it but some plot holes
I really like the idea and the two perspectives but I'm on episode 2 and there's some explaining that needs to be done because of a major plot hole. If the blonde-headed guy that the girls met at the store and asked him if he could move IDs went ahead and pre-sold 200 fake IDs at $150/per ID then he intimidates the girls at their high school to give him either the IDs or give him $30k within a week, why does he need the $30k? He just collected it on pre-orders so he could give the money back and he didn't give the $30k to the girls. He didn't spend any money at all. If the girls paid him, then he'd have $60k in hand. Doesn't make sense.
Coffee & Kareem (2020)
Terrible
First off, writing is terrible. The whites female officer has no funny bone in her body, Ed Helms plays the same moronic character as all his other movies and the kid not only curses too much but he's over the top. Better writing, funnier actors, no cursing = maybe a PG-13 rated decent kids comedy.
Better Call Saul (2015)
One of the best
I watched Breaking Bad a couple of years after it came out and didn't really get why it was so highly rated. I thought it was really good but not great. I liked the storyline but I must admit that Vince Gilligan did such a much better job with BCS. The story, although slow to some, was perfect through each season and got better and better. Bob Odenkirk is perfect in the role and all the supporting roles are superb as well. Dare I say that this show is up there with The Americans, Game of Thrones and the Sopranos, maybe even better. It really is phenomenal storytelling and acting all around. It's sad that next season will be the last but I guess it's better to go out on top.
Gisaengchung (2019)
Good not great
It was a really good dark comedy. It was boring in parts. Definitely some flaws. I'd say the 1st half was the better part. It didn't deserve any of the oscars it received. Snow piercer was a better movie by the director and even that didn't deserve any oscars. I love the director though.
