Full of life, full of laughter
24 April 2024
The level of talent, whether it's improv or timing of delivery, is nothing short of hold your belly laughter. If you enjoy life, you will enjoy this show. It has always taken a lighthearted approach through its skits and interactions with their guests.

The much awaited comeback of Sunil Grover (famous for Dr. Mashhoor Gulati) has been well rewarded so far. His new character where he plays an engineer is equally hilarious. Kapil and his team has, in my opinion, prepared better for this show than the last season. Krushna is, as he always has been, the other shining star of this show. Kiku is also as funny as he has been before.

Indian Police Force (2024– )

Sorry
23 January 2024
There is a terrorist. He is Muslim. He blows up bombs all across India. And then the police catch him. That's actually the entire story. I hope I didn't spoil anything, because there is nothing to spoil. There is no character depth, no richness in the plot, exploration of humanity or the complexity of human nature. There is absolutely no point in watching this show. Even if they condensed this into a movie, it would be too long. I don't care for bad CGI, as long as there is a decent story. Most dialogues are also boiler plate and aren't creative, mostly because of the lack of substance in the script anyway.

I will say, though, there are 3 dialogues: one between Kabir and his mom, one between Kabir and Vikram's wife and one between Kabir and Vikram. They're each about a minute long. They're philosophical, original and I wish the rest of the show would have been a reflection of these dialogues.
