The Book of Boba Fett (2021–2022)
6/10
start at episode 5
9 March 2023
Really nothing special.if anything they took the coolness and mistique away from the legend that is boba fett at gave us a less charismatic shadow of the legend in a somewhat not interesting, back to trying to stuff origin stories no one s interested in, solo ring a bell, maybe the second trilogy.. that is untill the real stars arrive in episode 5 and onwards, no spoilers...just trust me.at that moment the book of boba fett.ceases to be and we finally get back to characters and stories that interest us.hopefully in the future the people at star wars will keep giving us more of the latter. And may the force be with us.

so so at best

Warning: Spoilers
Disney took a chance at a solo movie without ford and completely missed. to a point that it didnt even feel like a star wars movie. just a space action movie that if it didnt have the name star wars attached to it could have just as easily been a netflix or straight to dvd movie. breaking it down - non of the characters are very interesting....maybe chewie... and at no point do you think you are watching han solo. if your a superfan then you have to watch it, like me, just to have seen it. if your not much of a fan, and much younger then the average starwars fan you'll probably enjoy it more. now the part that baffled me the most. at the end of the movie darth maul makes an appearance. now, we know that darth maul was the bad guy in the first prequal. the same movie that introduced us to a very young anakin skywalker. so by this we're supposed to understand that han is around 35 years older the luke an leah? to sum...not a terrible movie, even ok...just forced and pointless

i must see...but for no special reason

opening night. and opening night that has been anticipated by many since a long long time ago. people showing up in costume to finally see the transformation of Anakin to Vader, the birth of Luke... and so on. the movie starts, the audience applauds - and then..... nothing special. the long awaited movie pretty much ends up being just a pretty long movie. a movie which obviously you have to see till the very end - when Anakin turns to the dark side. that is the reason we bought the ticket in the first place. but all in all the movie isn't really good. great affects throughout the movie. probably the best affects of all the six movies. but a very, very slow and boring start to the movie, and very, very ( i can't even stress how very) bad acting all through the movie. if ever there was a doubt of casting Hayden Christensen there is no doubt anymore. the kid just couldn't pull it off. neither could Natalie portman for that matter. even thought her part in the movie was quite small, maybe it was just better that way. other then Ewan McGregor, who didn't shine either but was semi OK, the whole cast really blew it when it came down to the acting, which might just be (and forgive the blasphemy) the fault of the director. with all the down sides to this movie, it is still a must see for star wars fans. it is. because we just have to know the whole story. not to mention that the second half of the movie is quite better the the first half, and it's far from a bad movie. it's just not really good. but truthful it just might be the poorer version of a finally to a poorer trilogy.
