Best rare scenes ever
24 November 2003
Warning: Spoilers
little spoiler in it

I think this is one of the absolutely best films I've ever seen. The first time I saw it I was like 10 years old and like it OK, probably because of the violence. But when I saw it in the stores a year ago I got flashbacks of it that just said to me that I should buy it. And I saw the flick again and completely fell in love with it. It's such a masterpiece I can't find good synonymous words explaining it. Most people would say that it's only full of violence and blood, and I agree. But it's the way all the blood and violence is presented to you that's fascinating, it's pure art. And the favourite parts besides the violence are the incredibly cool scenes like when Tim Roth(Mr.Orange, the cop) is about to take a piss in "the commote"-scene. He enters the room full of cops and a narc-dog which is barking at him, and when he explains how he feels about standing in that room with narcotics on him is one of the absolutely coolest scenes I can ever come to think of. If you see it you'll know what I mean, it's a stunning classic scene. But the best part is that the film is absolutely full of such groundbreaking scenes, one of those is the torture-scene, another fine classic. If you haven't seen it and you're a bit esthetic in your blood, you as I, will completely love it. If I have to give it stars which I think might be missleading I'd have to say that this is a definite 10/10!

The Matrix (1999)
9/10
Almost underrated
18 January 2003
I have to say that I've loved this movie from the first time I saw it, and I've seen it several times. But, the last time I saw it, a few days ago, I actually liked it even more(don't know how that happens). I really thought about the script, and realized that it's truly magnificent. The movie is so incredibly original. I might nowadays be tired of the "Matrix-effects" that appears in almost every single action movie made nowadays, but you have to remember that it was Matrix that started these beautiful "freeze-sequences" and that everybody loved them, otherwise they wouldn't have been imitated by so many other movies. And the best thing of all in this movie is the "WHAT!! HOW INCREDIBLY SMART!!!"-scenes when you realize what the Matrix really is. I mean nobody could ever guess what the Matrix was until you were shown. For those of you who's seen it, you've got to admit you were stunned when you saw what the matrix really was. If you take some time to think about it, it seems like a thing that actually can occur in the future. The movie is really fast paced, and sometimes it gets a little too much. It's almost too "cool" but I mean they wanted to make a comic-like cool movie and really succeeded in those aspects, though for some people it just gets too much. Anyways it's a stunning movie, and I'd even advice it to those who dislike action-movies because the Matrix is very well written, and it's based on a very interesting thought the Wachowski-brothers came up with. Mostly for the originality I'll give it 9/10. Can't really tell if I think it's a masterpiece or not, but It's certainly not far from it.

Screwed in Tallinn (1999 TV Movie)
Wonderful
29 December 2002
The most people only like it for the humour in it, but one should definitly understand that this film is wonderful because of the humour mixed with the incredibly strong theme. This film is about a set of people who meets up in a bus going to Tallinn. They don't know each other, and everyone of them come from very interesting backgrounds. So it's a strange set of desperate people who's going to Tallinn only to get themselves wives. That sounds very funny, but the fact remains that this is what people in real life do, and that must not be forgotten. If you don't think about that, you haven't understood the film. The film is incredibly not serious yet incredibly serious, and being able to find a balance between that is skilled, and that's what makes it so good. It's a 9/10

Volcano (1997)
I had low expectations...
29 December 2002
I have to say that i had low expectations, since these flicks seldom are good. But, what the heck, my brother started the film... and it was then i started to puke. No, but seriously how could anybody in this world like this film. It was disastrously worthless. Mortal kombat rocks in comparison. Everything was so DUMB. Like when this "enormous hero of a fire-fighter" was to help this guy in the sub-way, choosing to throw him to the others and taking his own life. I MEAN WHAT!! That was like the most pathetic scene ever made. And at the end Tommy is to save his daughter and a little boy by running something like 500 metres just to push her away... WHY THE HELL DIDN'T SHE JUST WALK THIS VERY METRE. The whole flick was purely based on making "extreme-hero-scenes" which were all incredibly silly. The sentimentality really flew in this film. How the heck could Tommy Lee-Jones ever star in this crap(i'm ashamed of him). Every actor was bad, even Tommy, but the worst acting of all goes to Anne Heeche. BOY, did she act over or what!!! The only reason i managed to see to the end was because i knew i could walk out of that room being able to say "I HAVE SEEN THE WORST FILM EVER". And the tragic thing is that there are people who actually liked it(I share nothing with you, be so sure)
