Road Hauks (2017)
Entertaining show, incredibly talented mechanics/artists
Road Hauks is a joy to watch. The mechanics are incredibly talented and their pride in their craft, and their attention to detail is amazing. Kenny is really an artist first and mechanic second.
Lest you think the builds aren't really up to the quality they imply, I was at a Jeep show where they had two of the builds from the show -- they're every bit as solid and impressive in real life as they appear on screen. And they weren't roped off or anything -- crowds were pouring over every inch, climbing in and out, asking the mechanics about every aspect. I don't know how they build them so fast, but they're definitely legit and topped anything else at the show by miles.
If you're a history buff looking to learn something new about the past, this isn't your show. If you're an auto mechanic looking for examples of sound, conservative shop behavior, this isn't your show. But if you like cars/trucks/jeeps, and like to watch talented artists and craftsmen who love what they do and take pride in their work, give the show a try.
