The first Polish series of the genre "cloak & dagger", describing adventures of Polish noblemen, set at the background of 17th century Poland. Great role by Leonard Pietraszak as colonel Dowgird. I remember being a young kid and watching this series on TV breathlessly. In my opinion it has it all : intrigues, history, great costumes and of course love&war. Over the years, though, I forgot all about it. Until recently I came across the whole series in a DVD-box. I bought it and watched it, concluding that I find it still great. I can recommend it to all, certainly if you enjoy other Polish productions like Potop (The Deluge), Krzyzacy (Teutonic Knights) and Pan Wolodyjowski (Colonel Wolodyjowski).
